أعلنت مجموعة بريد الإمارات عن إصدار سلسلة طوابع تذكارية مميزة تحتفي بفاكهة اللوز الإماراتية، في إطار جهود المجموعة لتعزيز الوعي بالموارد الطبيعية والزراعية وأهمية استدامتها للأجيال المُقبلة. وجاء اختيار فاكهة اللوز الإماراتية، نظراً لارتباطها الوثيق بالثقافة المحلية، ومكانتها في الذاكرة الشعبية، ورواجها الكبير لدى مُختلف الفئات العُمرية. 

وتعد شجرة اللوز الإماراتية إحدى أصناف الفواكه الآسيوية استوائية المنشأ، وتنتمي إلى فصيلة الأشجار شبه دائمة الخضرة، تنمو هذه الشجرة في مناطق متنوعة من دولة الإمارات كما و تمتاز بارتفاع جذعها ليتجاوز 10 أمتار، ونمو فروعها أفقياً مشكلةً مساحة كبيرة من الظل. تتصف ثمار اللوز الإماراتية بمذاقها اللذيذ، وتنوع استخداماتها لتشمل الطهي وتحضير وصفات الطب الشعبي، إلى جانب تصنيف نواتها كنوعٍ من المكسرات.

Emirates Post Group launched a collection of unique stamps, paying tribute to the revered Emirati almond fruit. This initiative is aimed at fostering public awareness of local, natural, and agricultural resources and their significance for the generations to come. The almond fruit is woven into the very fabric of the local culture, resonating across generations. 

Drawing inspiration from the lush landscapes of the UAE, the stamps capture the essence of the iconic Emirati Almond Tree - a semi-green marvel that thrives in various corners of the country. Its distinctive silhouette, with a trunk soaring up to 10 meters and branches that gracefully stretch to create expansive shaded havens, mirrors the unity between nature and tradition. A culinary delight, the Emirati almond is renowned for its exquisite flavour, making its way into both traditional Emirati cuisine and medicinal practices. The kernel, resembling a nut, holds a special place in the hearts of the people.

Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: “The release of these commemorative stamps underscores our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the UAE’s environment and cultural legacy. بالتعاون مع وزارة الثقافة والشباب، أعلنت شركة مجموعة بريد الإمارات عن مواعيد ورش العمل القادمة لمسابقة تصميم طابع بريدي بمجهود الشباب يحتفي باستضافة الدولة لأحد أبرز الفعاليات الدولية التي تُعنى بالتغير المناخي. 
  
ستقام ورش العمل في أبوظبي في 17 يوليو 2023 وفي دبي في 19 يوليو 2023، بالتزامن مع برنامج أنشطة المخيم الصيفي لوزارة الثقافة والشباب. ويأتي ذلك بعد نجاح إطلاق أولى الورش في عجمان في 12 يوليو الجاري. تساهم المبادرة إلى تعزيز وعي جيل الشباب بأهمية الطوابع التذكارية، وتعريفهم بمعايير وخصائص تصميمها. 

كما وتعكس المسابقة لتصميم الطابع البريدي التذكاري إلى التزام مجموعة بريد الإمارات بإشراك وتمكين الشباب وتحفيزهم على ترك بصمتهم بمنهجيةٍ إبداعية وعلى نطاقٍ عالمي، عبر منحهم الفرصة لإبراز مواهبهم ضمن منصةٍ دولية.

Emirates Post Group Company (EPG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Youth, announced the dates for the upcoming workshops linked to their stamp design competition. The competition encourages youth to design the commemorative stamp towards the UAE’s hosting a major global climate change event, and through these workshops, EPG seeks to provide support and guidance for aspiring designers interested in participating.

Scheduled within the calendar of the Ministry of Culture and Youth Summer Camp programme and following the successful launch of the first workshop held in Ajman on July 12, 2023, the initiative will continue with workshops in Abu Dhabi on July 17, 2023, and Dubai on July 19, 2023. These workshops are curated to familiarise young talents with the significance and value of postage stamps and offer guidance into the various aspects and standards of stamp design. 

The competition towards designing the commemorative stamp is a testament to EPG’s dedication to empowering and engaging youth to make a creative impact on a global scale and showcase their talents to an international audience. 

The deadline for interested candidates to submit their stamp designs is July 28, 2023. All participants must submit their designs through the designated submission site,[ https://airtable.com/shrhqaIqH483sWa4o]( https://airtable.com/shrhqaIqH483sWa4o). A panel of judges will later assess the submitted stamp designs in order to choose the best three designs and award cash prizes.

وقعت شركة مجموعة بريد الإمارات مذكرة تفاهم مع "بريد موريشيوس" تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات، بما في ذلك تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والخدمات البريدية والتجارة الإلكترونية. كما تتماشى هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية مع الجهود التي تبذلها الجهتان لاستكشاف آفاق جديدة تدعم التنمية في البلدين. 

واستضافت مجموعة بريد الإمارات حفل توقيع مذكّرة التفاهم في مقرّها الرئيسي بتاريخ 8 يوليو 2023. وحضر الحفل كل من **سعادة شوكت علي سودهن، سفير جمهورية موريشيوس لدى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وسعادة ديباك بلاغوبين وزير تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والابتكار في جمهورية موريشيوس، وفيجاي أناند رامشورن، الرئيس التنفيذي لبريد موريشيوس وسعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات**. تُعدّ هذه الاتفاقية خير دليل لتقدير الدولتين للدور المحوري لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في تعزيز تبادل المعارف التقنية ودفع عجلة التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، واعترافاً بالتطورات التي حققتها دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في الخدمات البريدية والتجارة الإلكترونية. فقد أعرب الطرفان عن التزامهما المشترك بتعزيز الشراكات والمشاريع التجارية والتنمية في قطاع البريد واللوجستيات.

وقال **فيجاي أناند رامشورن، الرئيس التنفيذي لبريد موريشيوس**: "تحفز اتفاقية التفاهم التعاون بين الجهتين في مجالات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والخدمات البريدية والتجارة الإلكترونية وبناء القدرات، وخدمات مراكز البريد وغيرها من المجالات ذات الصلة."

وبموجب أحكام مذكرة التفاهم، سيشارك الطرفين في أنشطة تعاون مختلفة، بما في ذلك تبادل المعرفة، وشراكات في اصدارات الطوابع البريدية، ودعم تطوير منصة للتجارة الإلكترونية.

وقال **سعادة عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات**: "يسرنا عقد شراكة استراتيجية مع بريد موريشيوس التزامنا بدفع الابتكار وتعزيز الشراكات الدولية التي تسهم في التنمية الاقتصادية الإقليمية. ستقوم مجموعة بريد الإمارات بالعمل مع بريد موريشيوس لخلق فرص جديدة وتقديم خدمات متطورة لمتعاملينا ومجتمعاتنا."   
 
ويعزز التعاون بين الطرفين الروابط الثنائية بين دولة الإمارات وجمهورية موريشيوس، ويمنح زخماً إضافياً للمشاريع المشتركة والمشاريع التجارية وخطط توسيع أعمال الخدمات البريدية واللوجستية، ما يمهد الطريق أمام نمو اقتصادي إقليمي قوي.

In a move to enhance bilateral collaboration, Emirates Post Group Company (EPG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mauritius Post Ltd. aimed at fostering cooperation in various fields, including information and communication technology (ICT), postal services, and e-commerce solutions. 

The MoU, signed by representatives of both organizations at EPG headquarters on July 8, 2023, in the attendance of **H.E. Showkutally Soodhun, GCSK, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to the U.A.E, and H.E. Deepak Balgobin, Minister of Information, Technology Communication and Innovation**, Mauritius, recognizes the crucial role of ICT in advancing technical exchanges and promoting economic and social development. Acknowledging the advancements made by the United Arab Emirates in postal services, e-commerce, and mail hub services, both entities have expressed a shared commitment to strengthening partnerships, commercial ventures, and development in the postal and logistics sector.

**Vijaye Anand Ramchurn, CEO of Mauritius Post Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm over the collaboration stating**: “this MOU will encourage and promote cooperation between our entities in the field of ICT, postal services, e-commerce, capacity building, mail hub services, and other related fields for both organisations.”

Under the provisions of the MoU, EPG and Mauritius Post will engage in various cooperation activities, including knowledge exchange, philatelic partnerships, and support in the development of an e-commerce platform.

**H.E. Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of EPG, said**: “We are excited to form a strategic cooperation with Mauritius Post. The agreement reflects our commitment to driving innovation and fostering international partnerships that contribute to regional economic development. The cooperation between the entities strengthens bilateral ties between the UAE and Mauritius on a global level. It further promotes joint ventures, business endeavours and expansion of postal and logistics services, paving way for stronger regional economic growth.

تدعو مجموعة بريد الإمارات، بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم وعدد من الشركاء التقنيين، طلاب الكليات والجامعات المبتكرين والمهتمين في مجال الروبوتات للمشاركة في مسابقة "ابتكارات لوجستية". وتعد المسابقة أول برنامج تعليمي سنوي للروبوتات تطلقها المجموعة تهدف إلى سد الفجوة بين القطاع الأكاديمي واللوجستي. 

وأكدت وزارة التربية والتعليم، أهمية المسابقة في إثراء مهارات الطلبة التقنية، داعية الطلبة الذين يمتلكون مهارات في مجال البرمجة والروبوتات للمشاركة في هذا البرنامج المبتكر، وذلك بالتسجيل عبر الرابط المخصص. وسيتم اختيار ثلاث فرق يتكون كل فريق من طالبين إلى أربعة طلاب بمشاركة طالب إماراتي واحد على الأقل، لبناء روبوت كحل للمسألة المطروحة في المسابقة. كما وستوفر المجموعة التمويل اللازم بقيمة 5000 درهم لشراء الأدوات الضرورية وتمكين الفرق لبناء أفكارهم المبتكرة.

يصاحب المسابقة برنامجاً تعليمياً سيُعقد من سبتمبر إلى نوفمبر. وسيتم دعوة الطلاب المشاركين لزيارة منشآت مجموعة بريد الامارات بما فيها مركز الفرز وفروع التجزئة، إلى جانب المقر الرئيسي للشركات التكنولوجية المشاركة، للتعرف عن كثب على قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية والتطورات التكنولوجية المحتملة التي يمكن تبنيها وإدماجها. 

يهدف هذا التعاون إلى تطوير المواهب ودفع عجلة التقدم في قطاع اللوجستيات. كما يعد برنامج "ابتكارات لوجستية" باب لفتح آفاق متنوعة وخلق فرص جديدة للطلاب المشاركين في قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية بدعم من الشركاء التقنيين للمجموعة، بما فيهم سكاي جو، وشركة بيانات، وستراتا للتصنيع.

يساهم برنامج "ابتكارات لوجستية" إلى تمكين الشباب وصقل مهاراتهم، كما سيتم الثناء على جهودهم الجبارة ودعمهم من خلال تقديم جوائز نقدية ودروع وشهادات تقديرية.

Emirates Post Group Company (EPG) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and various technology partners, is inviting all university and college students with a passion for innovation and robotics to participate in their inaugural “Logistics Unleashed” competition. The competition, conducted as an educational program, is the Group’s first annual robotics competition aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. 

The Ministry of Education emphasized the importance of the competition in enriching students' technical skills, improving their ability to innovate and employing their ideas optimally, with the purpose of introducing students to the logistics industry. The Ministry of Education will invite students with robotics and programming skills to participate in EPG’s innovative program by registering their interest through a dedicated link. 

Three teams, comprised of two to four students, with at least one Emirati national, will be selected to build a robot as a solution to the competition’s case study. EPG will provide each participating group with AED 5,000 for purchasing the necessary materials, empowering the teams to bring their innovative ideas to life. 

A distinguishing factor of the competition is the accompanying educational program that will run from September to November. Participating students will visit EPG’s facilities, including the sorting centre and retail branches, as well as the headquarters of the participating technology partners to gain first-hand insights into the logistics industry and the potential technological advancements that can be incorporated. 

EPG’s collaboration with the Ministry of Education, reflects its commitment to developing talent and driving advancements in the logistics sector. Supported by the Group’s technology partners, Bayanat, SkyGo, and STRATA, the “Logistics Unleashed” program promises to unlock a world of new opportunities for participating students and the logistics industry.



All participating students who complete the program successfully will be awarded with monetary rewards, as well as trophies and certificates recognizing all their efforts.

أطلقت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بالتعاون مع "وزارة الثقافة والشباب"، مبادرة خاصّة بالشباب تدعوهم من خلالها إلى المشاركة في تصميم طابع بريدي تذكاري جديد، يحتفي باستضافة الدورة الثامنة والعشرين من مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية، بشأن تغير المناخ COP28 عام 2023. وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى دعم وتمكين الشباب ومنحهم مساحةً لتطوير مهاراتهم وتوظيف الإبداع والابتكار كوسيلة للتواصل الاجتماعي، إلى جانب تعزيز مشاركتهم في أهم الفعاليات في الدولة. 

ويأتي إطلاق هذه المبادرة في إطار سعي "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" للمساهمة في تعزيز دور الشباب في تحقيق التنمية والتقدم في جميع المجالات ورفدهم بمختلف سبل الدعم والتمكين للارتقاء بمساهمتهم في بناء مستقبل زاهر تماشياً مع الرؤية الاستشرافية للقيادة الرشيدة. كما يعكس تخصيص إصدار بريديٍّ للاحتفاء بانعقاد مؤتمر الأطراف COP28 في دولة الإمارات التزام المجموعة بالرؤى والمستهدفات الوطنية، وحرصها على الاحتفاء بأبرز إنجازات ومكتسبات الدولة. 

وتشتمل المبادرة على مجموعة من ورش العمل والجلسات التعليمية التي تقام في جميع أنحاء الدولة، وتهدف إلى تعريف الشباب المشاركين بالنواحي التصميمية المختلفة المتعلقة بالطابع البريدي والمعايير الواجب تحقيقها، وتسلِّط الضوء على أهمية مشاركة الشباب في هذا الحدث العالمي وترك بصمتهم ومشاركة إبداعاتهم. وسيتمُّ تقييم التصاميم فور استلامها من قبل مختصِّين واختيار أفضل 3 تصاميم ومنح مُصمِّميها جوائز نقدية.

Emirates Post Group Company (EPG) has partnered with the Ministry of Culture and Youth to launch an exciting initiative aimed at empowering and engaging young talents. The initiative invites youth to design a commemorative stamp in celebration of the UAE’s hosting of the 28th annual Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change 2023 (COP 28). Through the initiative, EPG aims to nurture creativity and provide a platform for the youth to contribute to meaningful community engagement and foster their active participation in significant national events.

EPG launches this initiative as part of its unwavering commitment to support the nation’s youth and drive their progress across various domains, in line with the esteemed leadership vision of that emphasizes the pivotal role of young minds in shaping a prosperous future. The COP28 commemorative stamp will celebrate and echo the Group’s dedication to celebrating the country’s ambitions and remarkable achievements.

The initiative will involve a series of workshops and educational sessions designed to familiarise participants with various aspects and standards of stamp design. By actively engaging and designing the postage stamp for this global event the youth will leave their mark and exhibit their creative talents.  Designs will be evaluated upon receipt by a panel of experts with the best 3 designs selected and awarded with cash prizes.

Commenting on the launch of the initiative,**H.E. Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Youth**, said: “The UAE is at the forefront of launching leading global sustainability projects, uniting international efforts aimed at combating climate change. By empowering our youth across industries and engaging them in shaping future aspirations, for we are paving the way for a new era in protecting humanity and igniting hope.”

“Youth are the driving force of creativity, innovation, and future foresight.  Hence, Emirates Post Group and the Ministry of Culture and Youth have joined hands to encourage young individuals to participate in designing the COP28 commemorative stamp. This comes as part of a larger project that echoes our wise leadership’s vision of empowering the youth and equipping them with the skills needed to achieve desired milestones. It also raises awareness of the UAE’s vital role in hosting the 28th annual Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change 2023 (COP 28),” he added.

أعلنت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" إجراء إعادة هيكلة استراتيجية، بهدف ترسيخ مكانتها الرائدة ولتصبح الممكن الرئيسي للخدمات اللوجستية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وتأتي هذه التغييرات في أعقاب تحول المجموعة إلى شركة مساهمة عامة مملوكة بالكامل من قبل "جهاز الإمارات للاستثمار"، مما أدى إلى إعادة هيكلة منظومة عملياتها لتعزيز سلاستها وكفاءتها.

في هذا الصدد، ستعمل "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" على توظيف المنهجيات المبتكرة لتطوير العمليات البريدية التقليدية وخدمات التوصيل لدى شركة **"بريد الإمارات"**، وذلك من خلال التركيز على تبني الرقمنة في منتجاتها المتنوعة وتعزيز عمليات حلول النقل المتكاملة التي تتضمن توصيل الميل الأخير وحلول التجارة الإلكترونية تلبيةً للمتطلبات المتغيرة في السوق ومواكبةً لاتجاهات التحول الرقمي.

ومن ناحية أخرى، ستواصل **"فنت إكس"** (FINTX)، شركة التكنولوجيا المالية الجديدة التابعة لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات"، تمكين جهود التحول الرقمي للنهوض بشركات الخدمات المالية التابعة لها، وهي "وول ستريت للصرافة" و"إنستانت كاش". وستعمل "فنت إكس" على تسريع وتيرة تنفيذ استراتيجية التكنولوجيا المالية للمجموعة، والتي تقتضي إنشاء مشاريع جديدة والاستثمار فيها بهدف تشكيل منظومة تكنولوجيا مالية رائدة توفِّر أحدث الخدمات والحلول المالية داخل دولة الإمارات وخارجها.

علاوةً على ذلك، سيتابع **"مركز الوثائق الإلكترونية"** (EDC)، الجهة المختصة بالتحول الرقمي والتابعة لـلمجموعة، تطوير منصاته وحلوله الرقمية لدعم المؤسسات العاملة في قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية والقطاعات الأخرى في تحقيق أهدافها على صعيد التحول الرقمي. 
وستقوم "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بإنشاء وحدة جديدة تتولَّى أعمال الابتكار والاستثمارات الاستراتيجية، كما ستتابع إدارة الاستثمارات الحالية للمجموعة واستكشاف الفرص المتاحة ضمن المشاريع الجديدة. ويعزز إطلاق هذه الوحدة التزام المجموعة بتنمية محفظة الأعمال وتوسيع نطاق خدماتها ومنتجاتها وتوفير الحلول المبتكرة.

Emirates Post Group Company (EPG) has undergone a strategic restructuring aimed at positioning itself as the logistics market enabler in the UAE. The new structure follows the organization’s transition to a Public Joint Stock Company, fully owned by Emirates Investment Authority, which necessitated a review of its overall business operations to enhance efficiency and streamline its operations.

**Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group Company** said, “The official transition of Emirates Post Group into a public joint stock company represents a pivotal point in our mission to diversify our business, improve customer experience, and offer tailored services and products. It moves us closer to our primary objective of becoming the leading logistics market enabler in the region, while fostering an ecosystem that integrates logistics, fintech, and digital solutions.” 

Throughout its history, EPG has worked to positively contribute to the Emirate's social and economic development in line with the UAE Government’s Vision, especially in the areas of eCommerce, financial inclusion, and digital transformation. In accordance with this vision, all subsidiaries under the Group: Emirates Post, FINTX, and Electronic Documents Centre (EDC), will undergo effective changes. 

EPG is set to adopt novel approaches to revolutionize the conventional postal services and courier services of its subsidiary **'Emirates Post'** by expediting the digitization of its offerings, strengthening its last-mile delivery operations and e-commerce solutions, to cater to a dynamic market that is constantly evolving due to digital advancements

Similarly, EPG’s new FinTech subsidiary **‘FINTX’,** will continue to spearhead the digital transformation efforts to revolutionize the Group's existing financial services companies - Wall Street Exchange and Instant Cash. This will accelerate the Group’s FinTech strategy towards creating and investing in new ventures to form a FinTech eco-system of financial services and solutions in the UAE and beyond.
 
**‘EDC’,** the Group’s digital transformation subsidiary, will continue to focus on enhancing its digital platforms and solutions to support organizations in the logistics industry and various other industries to achieve their digital transformation goals. 

Additionally, EPG will create a new business unit that will focus on strategic investments and innovation. The new business unit will manage the existing investments of the Group’s current portfolio and explore opportunities in new ventures. The launch of the new investment and innovation unit comes with a commitment to grow EPG’s business portfolio and expand its offerings, while delivering innovative solutions. 

EPG's restructuring aligns with the goals of the Group's new 5-year strategy, which include maximising the Group's full potential, transforming its postal business to digital, revamping its Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) business, and exploring investment opportunities to maximise value for customers and shareholders. The performance of EPG's workforce will be the primary catalyst in driving the Group's transformational journey to achieve its goals of improving its organisational capabilities and competitiveness.
