أبرمت مجموعة بريد الإمارات وشركة سكاي جو، مزود الخدمات اللوجستية الجوية، اتفاقية تعاون لتوفير خدمات التوصيل والخدمات اللوجستية بين عدد من المراكز في أبوظبي. وتأتي هذه الشراكة في إطار الرؤية الاستراتيجية لمجموعة بريد الإمارات لتحقيق تحولٍ شامل في الحلول اللوجستية للميل الأخير، وتعزيز سرعتها وكفاءتها واستدامتها البيئية بالاستعانة بالطائرات دون طيار "الـدرون". 

ويتزامن إبرام الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين مجموعة بريد الإمارات وسكاي جو، مع الإطلاق الرسمي لمجمع صناعة المركبات الذكية والذاتية القيادة في إمارة أبوظبي. وسيسهم المجمع الجديد في ترسيخ مكانة إمارة أبوظبي كمركزٍ رائدٍ عالمياً في إنتاج المركبات الذكية والذاتية القيادة براً وبحراً وجواً. ويعكس هذا التعاون جهود المجموعة والتزامها بإرساء دعائم منظومة لوجستية أكثر تقدماً واستدامة، دعماً لمسيرة التنمية المستدامة في دولة الإمارات.  

وتسعى مجموعة بريد الإمارات لتطوير شبكة مراكز للطائرات "الـدرون" بالتعاون مع سكاي جو، والارتقاء بكفاءة وسرعة تسليم الشحنات البريدية والطرود الصغيرة من خلال بريد الإمارات، الشركة التابعة لها والمتخصصة في الخدمات البريدية والتوصيل السريع. وستحسن هذه المنهجية إمكانية الوصول إلى المناطق النائية، وتقلل الانبعاثات الكربونية وتسرّع وتيرة التسليم، وتعزز تجربة المتعاملين وجودة الخدمات.  

**وقال عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات:** "يسرنا أن نمضي قُدُماً في تطوير تعاوننا مع سكاي جو، ونواصل التزامنا بتمكين وتعزيز تقدُّم ونماء القطاع اللوجستي، وننظر بثقة حيال إطلاق عمليات التوصيل بطائرات "الـدرون" ضمن عددٍ من المراكز في أبوظبي، بعد النجاح الذي حققته شركة بريد الإمارات في المرحلة التجريبية لعمليات التوصيل القصيرة والبعيدة المدى بهذه المنهجية المبتكرة، كما نتطلع لإطلاق هذه الحلول على نطاقٍ تجاري، لنُرسي معايير جديدة لكفاءة العمليات والخدمات اللوجستية. وتمثل هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية قوةً دافعة لتحول القطاع اللوجستي، وتجسد رؤيتنا في تعزيز النمو المستدام بالاستعانة بالتكنولوجيا المتقدمة".  

وتعليقا على الاتفاقية، **قال محمد الظاهري، عضو مجلس إدارة سكاي جو:** "تمثل هذه الشراكة بداية لمستقبل الخدمات اللوجستية، حيث تمزج بين التكنولوجيا المتطورة والكفاءة والاستدامة. بينما نحلق فوق أفق أبوظبي المذهل، فإننا لا نقوم فقط بتوصيل البضائع فحسب، بل نقدم مستقبلاً أكثر إشراقا لهذه المدينة الرائعة وخارجها".

وستقوم مجموعة بريد الإمارات وسكاي جو بإبلاغ عملائهما الاستراتيجيين بإتاحة هذه الحلول كخدماتٍ تجارية، وسيضمن الجانبان امتثال عمليات التوصيل بطائرات "الـدرون" للقوانين والتشريعات الناظمة للملاحة الجوية واستخدام الطائرات دون طيار في الدولة. كما ستتعاون مجموعة بريد الإمارات وسكاي جو في مشاريع البحث والتطوير المرتبطة بتكنولوجيا الطائرات دون طيار.  

وتولي دولة الإمارات أهميةً كبيرة لتطوير تقنيات طائرات "الـدرون" والمركبات ذاتية القيادة كمحركاتٍ لتعزيز الابتكار والاستدامة في مُختلف القطاعات. ويعكس إطلاق مجمع صناعة المركبات الذكية والذاتية القيادة في إمارة أبوظبي هذه الرؤى الوطنية الطموحة، ويأتي في إطار المساعي الدولية للوصول للحد من الانبعاثات.

Emirates Post Group (EPG) and SkyGo, an aerial logistics provider, have signed a new agreement to implement drone-powered logistics and delivery services between designated locations in Abu Dhabi. This partnership aligns with EPG's strategic vision of a future where drone-powered delivery services transform last-mile logistics, providing speed, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

This strategic partnership coincides with the official launch of the Smart and Autonomous Vehicles Industry (SAVI) cluster in Abu Dhabi. SAVI is set to position Abu Dhabi as a global leader in the smart and autonomous vehicle industry, akin to Seattle or Toulouse, catalysing advancements across air, land, and sea domains. Echoing this vision, the strategic partnership with SkyGo underscores EPG’s efforts in supporting the country's sustainable development goals by enabling a cutting-edge, sustainable logistics ecosystem.

EPG envisions a seamless network of drone points, powered by SkyGo, to enhance the speed and efficiency of delivering postal items and small parcels through its postal and express business, managed by Emirates Post. This streamlined approach will significantly improve accessibility to remote areas, reduce carbon emissions and delivery times, to better serve customers and communities.

**Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, stated:** “As we embark on this next phase of collaboration with SkyGo, we fortify our commitment to enabling advancements within the logistics industry. Building on the success of our trials of 

short-range and long-range drone deliveries, we are now excited for Emirates Post to begin operating between designated spots in Abu Dhabi. We will closely at refining delivery routes and enhancing operational efficiency to provide drone delivery services as a commercial offering. This strategic partnership will not only optimise our delivery operations but also drive transformative change in the logistics landscape, aligning with our vision of sustainable, technology driven growth.”

**Commenting on the agreement, Mohamed Al Dhaheri, Board Member at Skygo, said:** “This partnership represents the future of logistics, blending cutting-edge technologies with efficiency and sustainability. As we soar over the stunning Abu Dhabi skyline, we're not just delivering goods; we're delivering a brighter future for this remarkable city and beyond." 

Together, EPG and SkyGo will identify strategic customers for the commercial offering of drone delivery solutions. The parties will also ensure that the drone delivery operations abide by all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to aviation and drone usage in the country. To increase the efficiency and safety of drone operations, EPG and SkyGo will work together on research and development projects pertaining to drone technology. 

The UAE prioritizes the development of drone and autonomous technology to drive innovation across industries while promoting sustainability. The launch of SAVI in Abu Dhabi exemplifies this commitment and aligns with global initiatives towards achieving zero emissions.

أعلنت مجموعة بريد الإمارات عن إطلاق النسخة الأولى من حملتها للتشجير "نزرع من أجل مجتمعنا". وتُجسّد هذه المبادرة التزام المجموعة بالاستدامة البيئية والمشاركة المجتمعية، وإحداث تأثير إيجابي على البيئة. كما أنها خطوة في سبيل المساهمة في معالجة آثار التغيّر المناخي وفي جهود مكافحة التدهور البيئي، ما يُمثّل خطوةً مهمة نحو بناء مستقبل أكثر اخضراراً للأجيال المُقبلة. وتتماشى هذه المبادرة مع نهج وتوجيهات القيادة الرشيدة بالحفاظ على البيئة، وتركيز الجهود لزيادة المساحات الخضراء، وتنميتها وتحقيق الاستدامة كأساس لضمان بيئة نظيفة للأجيال المقبلة.

 انطلقت فعاليات هذه المبادرة يوم 12 أكتوبر 2023 في منطقة مصفوت بإمارة عجمان بالتعاون مع دائرة البلدية والتخطيط (إدارة بلدية مصفوت) وبمشاركة واسعة من الطلاب وسكان المنطقة، بالإضافة إلى موظفي مجموعة بريد الإمارات، بهدف المساهمة في تعزيز الغطاء النباتي والتنوع البيولوجي في المنطقة، إضافةً إلى تحسين جودة الهواء. ويأتي مشروع التشجير بالتزامن مع مشروع قرى الإمارات أحد مشاريع مجلس الإمارات للتنمية المتوازنة، الرامي إلى تحقيق النمو المستدام في المناطق البعيدة في الدولة من خلال منهجية مبتكرة لخلق فرص اقتصادية في عشرة قرى في أنحاء الدولة.

وشكلّت هذه الفعالية منصة تجمع سكّان المنطقة، ما يُفضي إلى تعزيز الروابط المجتمعية ويمنحهم شعوراً بالمسؤولية تجاه البيئة. كما تُشكّل المبادرة فرصة تعليمية وتثقيفية مميّزة لطلاب المدارس حول البيئة ودورهم المحوريّ في بناء مجتمع ومستقبل أكثر استدامة.  وتعتزم المجموعة زراعة أنواع مختلفة من الأشجار في مختلف مناطق الدولة نهاية كل عام.

وقال **عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات**: "نُعرب عن فخرنا بإطلاق حملة “نزرع من أجل مجتمعنا" التي تُجسّد التزامنا الراسخ بالاستدامة وحماية البيئة، وتُمثّل خطوة مهمة نحو تحقيق أهدافنا البيئية. وأطلقنا هذه الحملة إيماناً منا بأهمية دور المجتمع وضرورة مشاركتها ونشر الوعي بين صفوفها لتعزيز التنمية المستدامة. ونحن على ثقة بأن هذه الحملة ستشكّل مساهمةً مؤثّرة على الصعيد الوطني لبناء مستقبل مستدام للأجيال المُقبلة. ونؤكّد التزامنا بدعم مساعي الدولة في هذا المجال وتعزيز الوعي بأهمية مكافحة تغيّر المناخ والحفاظ على البيئة." 

وأضاف **السيد سيف بن غدير الكتبي، مدير إدارة بلدية مصفوت** "تشيد بلدية مصفوت بمجموعة بريد الإمارات على اطلاقها حملة "نزرع من أجل مجتمعنا". ولا شك أن هذه المبادرات والمساهمات تساهم في تحقيق رؤية القيادة الرشيدة وتوجها المستمر للحفاظ على الرقعة الخضراء ومعالجة التغيرات المناخية بصورة إيجابية ومنتظمة."

وتشتهر منطقة مصفوت بأراضيها الزراعية الخصبة ومزارعها المنتشرة على مساحات واسعة. ويُعزى نجاح الزراعة في هذه المنطقة إلى اعتدال الطقس صيفاً وشتاءً، وانخفاض نسبة الرطوبة. وتمتاز وديان مصفوت بأراضيها الزراعية التي تمّ تصنيفها من بين الأراضي الأكثر خصوبة في الإمارات. وينتشر في المنطقة عدد من السدود المستدامة والموسمية على أطراف الأودية، ومنها سد خليبان وسد مزيرع وسد اليزير، والتي تحجز المياه المنحدرة من الشعاب والسهول ليتم استخدامها في ري الأراضي وتغذية الآبار والأفلاج التي يُعتمد عليها لريّ المزارع.

Emirates Post Group (EPG) has launched its inaugural edition of its ‘Rooted in the Community’ campaign, an initiative aimed at promoting afforestation as a powerful tool in the fight against climate change and the advancement of environmental sustainability.

The initiative reflects EPG's commitment to environmental conservation, community engagement, and to making a positive impact on the planet. It also aligns with the visionary leadership’s mission to amplify efforts in expanding green spaces and advancing sustainability, ultimately paving the way for a healthier and more sustainable future for generations to come. 

In collaboration with Ajman Municipality and Planning Department (Masfout Municipality), the initiative kicked off on October 12, 2023, in the Masfout area of Ajman. The launch event saw enthusiastic participation from a diverse group, including local students, residents, and dedicated EPG employees. As part of this initiative, EPG is set to plant a diverse range of trees in selected parts of the country at the end of each year. This ambitious tree-planting drive promises to make a substantial contribution to the growth of green spaces, enhance biodiversity, and improve air quality in the region.

The afforestation project coincides with the Emirates Villages project, one of the initiatives of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development. This innovative initiative is aimed at achieving sustainable growth in remote areas of the country by creating economic opportunities in ten villages across the nation.

It fosters community involvement by uniting residents of the region, thereby strengthening community bonds and instilling a sense of environmental responsibility. It also serves as an invaluable educational and cultural opportunity for students, enlightening them about their pivotal role in shaping a sustainable society and future. 

**Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group**, expressed his enthusiasm and said: “We are proud to launch the ‘Rooted in the Community’ campaign, which demonstrates our commitment towards the environment. This marks a significant stride toward achieving our sustainability and environmental objectives. **Saif Ghadeer Al Ketbi, Director of Masfout Municipality**, said: “We commend EPG’s efforts in launching the ‘Rooted in the Community’ campaign. Such initiatives contribute to achieving the vision of our wise leadership to preserve and increase the green cover in the country, adopt proper measures to address climate change, as well as promote positive climate action.”

The Masfout area is renowned for its fertile agricultural lands and vast farms that span extensive plots. The agricultural prosperity of this region can be attributed to the moderate and mild weather conditions during both winter and summer, as well as low humidity levels. The Masfout valleys in this region rank among the UAE’s most fertile lands, boasting numerous sustainable and seasonal dams on the outskirts of its valleys, including the Khaliban Dam, Muzayri’a Dam, and Al-Yazir Dam. These dams store water descending from plains and reefs, which will be subsequently utilised for agricultural irrigation, well filling and aflaj systems.

نظّمت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" فعالية مميزة في المقرّ الرئيسي للمجموعة بالتزامن مع يوم البريد العالمي لتكريم الفائزين الحاصلين على المراكز الأولى في المسابقة الدولية الثانية والخمسين لكتابة الرسائل. وتُقيم "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" هذه المسابقة سنوياً بالتنسيق مع "الاتحاد البريدي العالمي" وبدعمٍ من مؤسسة الإمارات للتعليم المدرسي. 

وكلّفت المسابقة الطلاب بكتابة الرسائل وفق الطرح التالي: "تخيل أنك بطل خارق ومهمتك جعل جميع الطرق حول العالم أكثر أماناً للأطفال. أكتب رسالةً إلى شخصٍ ما تشرح فيها القوى الخارقة اللازمة لتحقيق هذا الهدف". وقد شارك الطلاب والطالبات من مجموعة من المدارس في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، حيث قدموا رسائلهم باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية. 

وخلال الفعالية، كرّم ع**بدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات**، الطلاب الفائزين في المسابقة واحتفى بإنجازاتهم. وقد أحرز الطالب **محمد عبيد النقبي** المركز الأول في المسابقة، تليه **الطالبة بريانشي أكاش شاه** في المركز الثاني، و**سما محمود حسين** في المركز الثالث. 

وتم اختيار الرسالة الفائزة، التي كتبها النقبي، من بين مئات المشاركات، وذلك لتمثيل دولة الإمارات في الجولة العالمية من المسابقة. كما حظيت الرسالة بإشادةٍ خاصة من الاتحاد البريدي العالمي تقديراً لموهبة وإبداع الكاتب الشاب.  

وفي كلمته التي وجّهها للفائزين وأولياء أمورهم، أكد الأشرم على أهمية المسابقة في تمكين المواهب الشابة حيث تُتيح لهم الفرصة للتعبير عن أنفسهم من خلال الكتابة، ما يُعزز قدراتهم الإبداعية في معالجة المواقف التي يتعرضون لها في حياتهم اليومية. وأشاد الأشرم بجهود فريق مجموعة بريد الإمارات لتفانيهم في توسيع نطاق المسابقة لتشمل مجموعة واسعة من الطلاب، كما أثنى على تخصيصهم الوقت اللازم لتقييم هذا الكمّ من المشاركات.

In conjunction with World Post Day, Emirates Post Group hosted a special event at its headquarters to honour the winners of the 52nd International Letter Writing Competition. The competition is held annually by Emirates Post Group in collaboration with the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the support of the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE).

This year, the theme of the competition was “Imagine you are a superhero, and your mission is to make all roads around the world safer for children,” asking students to write a letter to explaining which superpowers they would need to achieve this mission. Students from various schools across the UAE enthusiastically participated, submitting their letters in both Arabic and English. 

During the event, **Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group**, awarded the winners and celebrated their achievements. **Mohamed Obaid AlNaqbi** won first place in the competition, followed by **Priyanshi Akash Shah** and **Sama Mahmoud Hussein** coming in second and third place respectively. 

The winning letter, written by AlNaqbi, was carefully selected from hundreds of submissions to represent the UAE in the international round of the competition. The letter secured a special mention from the UPU, highlighting the talent and creativity of the young writer.

Addressing the winners and their parents, Alashram emphasized the competition’s significance in empowering young talents. It provides them the opportunity to express themselves through writing, fostering creativity in addressing everyday situations. Alashram also praised the ESE's efforts in widening the competition's reach to a broad category of students and for their time in evaluating the numerous competition entries.

Every year on 9 October, we celebrate **World Post Day** which marks the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874.

It is a day to bring awareness of the Post's important role in the everyday lives of people and business as well as its contribution to global social and economic development. Post offices play a crucial role in fostering cohesive, inclusive, connected communities. 

The theme set by UPU for 2023 is: **"Together for trust collaborating for a safe and connected future."**

أطلقت مجموعة بريد الإمارات مسابقة "فن صندوق الرسائل"، وهي مبادرة إبداعية تدعو من خلالها المواهب الإماراتية من ذوي المهارات بالرسم أو الفن الرقمي أو التصميم الجرافيكي، لاستعراض قدراتهم وتحويل صناديق البريد الحمراء في جميع أنحاء دولة الإمارات إلى أعمال فنيّة تخلّد تراث الدولة وثقافتها الغنية وتروي حكاية كل إمارة بصيغة إبداعية وفريدة.

وتدعو المجموعة المشاركين لاختيار إمارة واحدة وتقديم اقتراح فنّي ومفصل يجسد الأهمية التاريخية للإمارة المختارة، حيث تقدّم هذه المبادرة فرصة استثنائية لتحويل صناديق البريد الحمراء إلى معالم تاريخية تترجم بدورها روح وتراث دولة الإمارات.

وقال عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات": "أخذت خدمة الرسائل التقليدية حيزاً واسعاً من الاهتمام في المرحلة التي سبقت التحوّل الرقمي وعصر الانترنت والهواتف المحمولة وخدمات نقل الرسائل المتقدّمة، فقد شكّلت وسيلة أساسية سهّلت التواصل بين الأفراد والشركات، وساهمت في انفتاحهم على العالم. ومن هنا، نظمّت المجموعة مبادرة "فن صندوق الرسائل" للحفاظ على هذا الإرث، من خلال تحديث صناديق البريد وتحويلها إلى معالم تخلّد تاريخ الدولة. وتجسّد هذه المسابقة التزامنا في تعزيز الفنون والثقافة الإماراتية ونتطلّع لمشاركة لافتة وفعّالة من جميع أنحاء دولة الإمارات."

وستختار "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" سبعة أعمال فنية استثنائية من الأعمال المقدمة لطباعتها ووضعها على صناديق البريد الحمراء. كما ستقدم جائزة مالية بقيمة 10,000 درهم للفنانين الفائزين، تقديراً لمواهبهم وتفانيهم في تخليد الإرث الثقافي لدولة الإمارات.

وتحثّ المجموعة جميع المواطنين على المشاركة في هذه المسابقة، ولاسيما الفنانين منهم، داعية المجتمع لدعم هذه المبادرة الإبداعية.

Emirates Post Group launched the ‘Letter Mailbox Art’ competition, a creative initiative aiming to transform the iconic red mailboxes across the UAE into artistic icons, paying homage to the rich heritage and culture of the nation. Talented Emiratis are invited to showcase their creativity and recount fascinating stories of each emirate through unique and visually stunning artworks.

The competition is open to Emirati participants, whether they are aspiring artists, hand-drawing enthusiasts, digital art creators or graphic designers. Aspiring participants are encouraged to select one of the seven emirates and submit their artistic proposals that focus on the emirate’s distinctive culture and history. The competition offers an exceptional opportunity to transform the red mailboxes into historical landmarks that resonate with the spirit of the UAE.

Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: “At a time when there were no internet, mobile phones or advanced courier services, people used to rely on traditional mail services as their primary means of communication. As a result, mailboxes assumed a pivotal role in facilitating connections between individuals and businesses, serving as their gateway to the world. It became an important part of human history that needs to be preserved. The idea behind organising the ‘Letter Mailbox Art’ competition is to breathe new life into these mailboxes and transform them into symbols of our heritage. This competition is a testament to our commitment in fostering and promoting Emirati art and culture. We are expecting overwhelming entries from talented individuals from across the nation.”

Seven exceptional art pieces will be selected from the submissions, and Emirate Post Group will print these winning designs and display them on the red mailboxes. Each winning artist will receive AED 10,000 cash award for their contribution, further recognising their unique talent and dedication towards the preservation of the UAE’s cultural heritage.

أعلنت مجموعة بريد الإمارات بالتعاون مع الاتحاد النسائي العام عن إطلاق طابع تذكاري مُميّز احتفاءً بيوم المرأة الإماراتية، والذي يأتي هذا العام تحت شعار "نتشارك للغد". يرمز هذا الطابع إلى الفخر والاعتزاز بالمسيرة الفريدة للمرأة الإماراتية ويحتفي بمساهماتها العظيمة وتضحياتها المُلهمة في سبيل تطوّر وتقدّم دولة الإمارات. وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار التزام المجموعة الراسخ بدعم وتمكين المرأة الإماراتية، وسعيها لتوثيق أبرز المناسبات في تاريخ الدولة. 

**وصرحت سعادة نورة السويدي، الأمينة العامة للاتحاد النسائي العام:** "يسعدنا بمناسبة يوم المرأة الإماراتية أن نحتفي بالدور العظيم لسمو الشيخة فاطمة بنت مبارك، رئيسة الاتحاد النسائي العام، رئيسة المجلس الأعلى للأمومة والطفولة، الرئيسة الأعلى لمؤسسة التنمية الأسرية "أم الإمارات"، في دعم وتمكين ابنة زايد الغالية. في هذا اليوم السعيد لا يسع كل امرأة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة إلا أن تعرب عن مقدار فخرنا واعتزازنا وتقديرنا لسموها، على كل ما قدمته وما زالت تقدمه من دعم ورعاية واهتمام للمرأة الإماراتية في كافة المجالات والقطاعات".
وأضافت سعادتها: "قادت سمو الشيخة فاطمة بنت مبارك، مسيرة تمكين المرأة الإماراتية منذ اللحظات الأولى لتأسيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، لتحقق إنجازات مبهرة يشهد لها القاصي والداني في كل ربوع الأرض، بعد أن وضعت سموها أهدافاً محددة وواضحةً لعمل الاتحاد النسائي العام، للنهوض بقضايا المرأة وتمكينها في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتعزيز التوازن بين الجنسين الذي يمثل أولوية في أجندة العمل الوطني، ليقوم منذ يومه الأول عام 1975، بتوظيف الإمكانات والقدرات لخدمة المرأة الإماراتية، ودعم جهود الدولة تجاه قضايا المرأة في مختلف المحافل المحلية والإقليمية والدولية، حتى أصبح التوازن بين الجنسين ثقافة مؤسسية مستدامة بكافة مؤسسات الدولة على المستويين الاتحادي والمحلي".
وتابعت سعادتها: "لدى المرأة الإماراتية سجلاً حافلاً بالإنجازات التاريخية، الذي يمتد تفسيرها والسرد عنها إلى مدى أبعد من النجاحات الرائدة التي سطرت من خلالها قصص نجاح ملهمة في الطموح والإرادة والتميز والريادة في كافة المجالات، بل أنها أشمل وأعمق لفكر ورؤى قيادتنا الرشيدة وقيم حملت في طياتها أنبل المعاني في بناء الإنسان، وتقدير المرأة وصون حقوقها، ومنحها فرصة حقيقية تستثمر في طاقاتها الخلاقة، ضمن مقاربة تقوم على الاستفادة من تنوع المهارات والقدرات والخبرات وتوجهيها بما يسهم في تحقيق تطور اقتصادي ومجتمعي وثقافي وإنساني شامل ومتكامل".
وأشادت سعادتها بمبادرة مجموعة بريد الإمارات في إطلاق طابع تذكاري مُميّز احتفاءً بيوم المرأة الإماراتية، التي تأتي في إطار جهودهم المتواصلة وتعاونهم الحثيث لدعم المرأة وتعزيز حضورها في مسيرة تنمية الوطن".

وبالتزامن مع يوم المرأة الإماراتية، نظمت مجموعة بريد الإمارات سلسلة من الفعاليات التي تُسلّط الضوء على دور وإنجازات المرأة الإمارتية.  حيث تم تنظيم جلسة حوارية مع الدكتورة حصة لوتاه، أول مخرجة إماراتية في دولة الإمارات، لمشاركة تجربتها وإنجازاتها ومناقشة الفرص والتحديات التي واجهتها. 

كما أطلقت المجموعة بطاقة بريدية خاصة بهذه المناسبة تحمل في داخلها رسالة معايدة من سمو الشيخة فاطمة بنت مبارك ام الإمارات لبنات الإمارات تم مشاركتها مع عدد من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة. وتعبر هذه البطاقة عن روح التجديد والارتباط بالتراث الثقافي من خلال امرأة ترتدي الزي الإماراتي بعدسة المبدعة الإماراتية عليا سلطان الجوكر. كما تم   تكريم أقدم موظفة في مجموعة بريد الإمارات، السيدة خلود مكي، التي بدأت مسيرتها المهنية مع البريد عام 1992 و لاتزال مستمرةً في عطائها.

Emirates Post Group, in collaboration with the General Women’s Union, released a commemorative stamp in celebration of Emirati Women’s Day. The stamp features the "We collaborate for Tomorrow" slogan adopted for the Emirati Women's Day for the year 2023 and has been designed to celebrate the extraordinary journey of Emirati women and honour their significant sacrifices and contributions to the development of the UAE. This comes as part of the Group's steadfast dedication to empowering Emirati women and commemorating important events in the nation's history. 

**Her Excellency Noura Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the General Women's Union, stated:** “On the occasion of the Emirati Women's Day, we honour the remarkable contributions of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF). Her tireless dedication to supporting and empowering Emirati Women shines as a beacon of inspiration. As we celebrated this special day, every woman in the UAE was filled with profound pride and gratitude for Her Highness’s unwavering support, compassionate consideration, and nurturing guidance that touches every facet of Emirati women’s lives.”

“Since the inception of the UAE, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak has been the guiding force behind the journey of empowering Emirati women. Her strides, which have garnered global admiration, showcase an unwavering commitment to gender equality – a cornerstone of our national agenda. Since its establishment in 1975, the General Women’s Union has tirelessly leveraged its resources and capabilities to uplift Emirati women, both locally and internationally, fostering a culture of sustainable gender balance across all federal and local institutions within the UAE.” **Her Excellency added**. 

Reflecting on this journey, **Her Excellency Al Suwaidi continued:** “Emirati women boast a history of monumental achievements, each narrating stories of ambition, determination, excellence, and leadership across all spheres. These achievements align with the vision of our sagacious leadership, underscoring the significance of recognizing women’s contributions, safeguarding their rights, and affording them opportunities that fuel creative expression – all pivotal in propelling development across all levels of society.” 

Her Excellency also commended the Emirates Post Group for launching a distinctive commemorative stamp in honour of Emirati Women's Day. This initiative stands as a testament to their dedicated efforts to support women and nurture their integral role in the development of the nation’s progress.

In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, Emirates Post Group also organised a series of activities to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of Emirati women. A panel discussion was organised with Dr. Hessa Lootah, the UAE's first female director, who shared her experiences and accomplishments, as well as the challenges she encountered.

Furthermore, the group launched a postcard with a message from Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, addressed to the women of the UAE. The image on the card, which was taken by Emirati photographer Alia bint Sultan Aljoker, shows a woman wearing traditional Emirati attire, evoking a sense of connection to the region's cultural heritage. The event also featured a tribute dedicated to Ms. Khuloud Makki, the longest serving employee of Emirates Post. Having embarked on her career with the Group in 1992, Ms. Makki continues to provide unparalleled services, exemplifying a legacy of commitment and excellence.

Emirates Post Group, in collaboration with the General Women’s Union, released a commemorative stamp in celebration of Emirati Women’s Day.
