In support of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and the Ministry of Interior, Emirates Post will be closing all its Customer Happiness Centres and temporarily halting courier services on Saturday, March 28. The move is in line with the three-day ‘National Disinfection Programme’ carried out by the two ministries in their campaign to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The national programme will involve a comprehensive sterilization of public utilities and transport over the course of three days.

His Excellency, Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Chairman of Emirates Post Group Company, chaired the company’s first remote board meeting to discuss business continuity and precautionary efforts amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

Emirates Post announced that participants can now start sending their submissions for the 49th UPU annual letter writing competition for schoolchildren aged between 10 and 15 years, under the new 2020 inspirational theme “Write a message to an adult about the world we live in”.
