أعلن بريد الإمارات بالشراكة مع نادي دبي للصحافة عن اصدار مجموعة من الطوابع التذكارية احتفالاً بتتويج دبي عاصمة للإعلام العربي للعام 2020، وتقديراً للمكانة المتميزة التي حققتها دبي في مجال الإعلام بفضل توجيهات ورؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، لتتحول إلى أحد أهم مراكزه على المستوين الإقليمي والعالمي، مع نجاحها في بناء مجتمع متخصص يغطي كافة قطاعات الإعلام بأكثر من 4000 شركة عربية وعالمية تتخذ من دبي مقراً رئيساً أو إقليمياً لها.

وصممت الطوابع التذكارية بأسلوب إبداعي يبرز ملامح إمارة دبي ويعكس الرؤى والطموحات التي انتهجتها على مدار  العشرين عاماً الماضية، والتي كان لنادي دبي للصحافة دور مهم كمساهم رئيس في قصة النجاح التي عاشتها الإمارة في مجال التطوير الإعلامي، والذي قدمت دبي من خلاله انجازات مؤثرة في المشهد الإعلامي العربي وفي مقدمتها "منتدى الإعلام العربي"؛ التجمع الإعلامي الأكبر من نوعه في المنطقة، و"جائزة الصحافة العربية" المحفل الأبرز للاحتفاء بالتميز في مجال العمل الصحافي العربي، ونادي رواد التواصل الاجتماعي العرب، المنصة الأولى من نوعها على المستويين العربي والدولي المعنية بتعظيم دور وإسهام رواد التواصل الاجتماعي العربي وتعزيز فرص التطوير والتنمية فيها.

وفي هذه المناسبة، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة مجموعة بريد الإمارات: "نسعى من خلال إصدار الطوابع البريدية التذكارية إلى الاحتفاء بكل أشكال التميز في دولة الإمارات وتسليط الضوء على الشخصيات البارزة والمؤثرة والقطاعات الحيوية لمساهمتها في إعلاء شأن الدولة وتحقيق تطلعاتها.

وأضاف سعادته: "دبي رسّخت مكانتها كمركز إعلامي رائد في المنطقة، ويشكل تتويجها كعاصمة للإعلام العربي لعام 2020 دليلاً دامغاً على تميزها وجدارتها في هذا المجال. وفي إطار الدور الحيوي لبريد الإمارات والمستمر لدعم قطاع الإعلام والثقافة والتزامها الراسخ بتخليد الإنجازات المهمة للدولة، نتشرف بإصدار هذا الطابع التذكاري احتفالاً بهذا الإنجاز الرائع".

من جانبها أعربت ميثاء بوحميد، مديرة نادي دبي للصحافة عن بالغ تقديرها لهذه البادرة الطيبة من قِبل مجموعة بريد الإمارات ومبادرتها للاحتفاء باختيار دبي عاصمة الإعلام العربي 2020، وقالت: "نثمن المبادرة النوعية لبريد الإمارات والتي تعكس مدى الوعي بأهمية قطاع الإعلام والمستوى المتقدم الذي بلغته دولة الإمارات في ريادة العمل الإعلامي على مستوى المنطقة لاسيما من خلال إسهامات مؤثرة نعتز أن يكون لدبي النصيب الأبرز منها ومن بينها على سبيل المثال "منتدى الإعلام العربي" و"جائزة الصحافة العربية" والذين يمثلا أهم حدثين إعلاميين في المنطقة وأوسعهما تأثيراً في هذا القطاع".

وأكدت بوحميد أن رؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم كانت الأساس الذي انطلقت منه دبي قبل عشرين عاماً نحو الريادة الإعلامية، مشيرة إلى أن طرح طوابع بريدية تذكارية للاحتفاء بدبي عاصمةً للإعلام العربي، يبرز مسيرتها المُلهمة في مجال العمل الإعلامي والتي نتشرف بكون نادي دبي للصحافة كان مشاركاً فيها بقوة. وعلى الرغم من الوضع الاستثنائي الراهن على مستوى العالم أجمع، لم ينقطع عطاء نادي دبي للصحافة ولم تفتر همته، بل اختار أن يواصل دوره من خلال تقديم أنشطة ومبادرات افتراضية تخدم الإعلاميين سواء داخل الدولة أو على مستوى المنطقة العربية تأكيداً على الأثر الإيجابي الذي تضطلع به دبي في دفع مسيرة التطوير الإعلامي في المنطقة".  

دبي عاصمة الإعلام العربي 2020

وقد جاء اختيار دبي عاصمةً للإعلام العربي للعام 2020 من قِبَل مجلس وزراء الإعلام العرب في ختام اجتماعات دورته الخمسين بمقر الجامعة العربية بالقاهرة في يوليو 2019، تأكيداً على دور دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة كحاضنة للإعلام العربي والدولي، وتقديراً للمكانة المتميزة التي حققتها دبي في مجال الإعلام.

ويمثل هذا الاختيار تتويجاً لمسيرتها في مجال التطوير الإعلامي والممتدة إلى أكثر من 20 عاماً متضمنةً العديد من الإنجازات من أبرزها تأسيس "نادي دبي للصحافة" في العام 1999 والذي قدمت دبي من خلاله إسهامات مؤثرة في المشهد الإعلامي العربي وفي مقدمتها "منتدى الإعلام العربي"؛ و"جائزة الصحافة العربية". كما أسست إمارة دبي مدناً متخصصة تخدم قطاعات الإعلام المرئية والمسموعة والمقروءة والرقمية وكانت بدايتها مع "مدينة دبي للإعلام" التي تأسست في العام 2001، ومن ثم "مدينة دبي للاستوديوهات" و"مدينة دبي للإنتاج" حيث وفّرت من خلال تلك المدن بنية تحتية تُعدُّ من الأفضل على مستوى العالم لخدمة المؤسسات الإعلامية العاملة فيها وتمكينها من تحقيق أعلى مستويات التميز.

وعلى الرغم من الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها المنطقة والعالم في هذه الآونة، يواصل نادي دبي للصحافة التعاون مع الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية لتقديم مبادرات ومشاريع تخدم الإعلامين في مختلف انحاء المنطقة ومعاونتهم على تقديم رسالة راقية تسهم في نهضة المجتمعات العربية. 

وكان نادي دبي للصحافة قد كشف في يناير الماضي عن شعار "دبي عاصمة الإعلام العربي"، بحضور صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، ولفيف من قيادات المؤسسات الإعلامية المحلية والعربية والكُتَّاب ورؤساء تحرير الصحف المحلية والعربية خلال احتفالية اقامها النادي بمناسبة مرور 20 عاماً على تأسيسه والاحتفال بتسلم دبي درع عاصمة الإعلام العربي للعام 2020. وجاء الشعار من تصميم المبدعة الإماراتية الشابة ريم الشامسي، الطالبة في السنة النهائية في الجامعة الأمريكية في دبي وتدرس التصميم، والتي اعتمدت في تصميمه على عبارة "دبي عاصمة الإعلام العربي" باللغتين العربية والانجليزية، مستخدمة اللونين الأبيض والأسود وخطوط عريضة وحادة في رمزية من خلال هذين اللونين والحضور القوي للخط العربي تأكيداً على أهمية وضوح الرسالة الإعلامية وعدم تضمنها لظلال من الألوان التي قد تعيق المتلقي عن إدراك الحقائق كما هي، وتعبيراً عن قوة دبي في هذا المجال وبحضورها القوي والبارز في ساحة الإعلام العربي.

Emirates Post, in collaboration with Dubai Press Club, announced the issuance of a set of commemorative stamps featuring the ‘Dubai, Capital of Arab Media 2020’ logo.

The stamps highlight Dubai’s leadership in driving regional media industry growth in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. They also highlight the emirate’s status as a vibrant regional and global media hub that is home to more than 4,000 companies from across industry sectors.

The commemorative stamps, which feature the official logo and various Dubai landmarks, highlight the emirate’s leading role in shaping the development of the UAE and Arab media sector over the last two decades.

**HE Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group Company,** said: “Through our commemorative stamp issuances, we seek to celebrate key achievements that reflect the pathbreaking excellence attained by people and industries in the UAE. Being named ‘Capital of Arab Media’ is testament to Dubai’s role in galvanising the rapid growth and evolution of the region’s media industry.  As part of our support for the country’s development, we seek to mark significant milestones in the growth and progress of media and cultural sectors through such initiatives.”  

**Maitha Buhumaid, Director of DPC**, said: “This unique initiative seeks to highlight the country’s role in catalysing media industry growth in the region and Dubai’s achievements as a hub for excellence in the sector. The commemorative stamps honour Dubai’s remarkable journey of success in the media field.” Buhumaid added that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision provided the impetus for Dubai to significantly expand its media infrastructure and provide the leadership for creating a dynamic industry in the Arab world over the last two decades.

DPC is proud of its vital contributions to Dubai’s media industry, she added. It has played an instrumental part in the emirate’s media industry success story having introduced path-breaking initiatives that have played an integral role in promoting dialogue and knowledge sharing in the region’s media. Amidst today’s challenging circumstances, the Dubai Press Club continues to work to advance the media industry through virtual activities aimed at supporting talent development, she noted.

**Dubai’s Selection**

Dubai was selected as the ‘Capital of Arab Media for 2020’ by the Council of Arab Information Ministers at its 50th session held in Cairo in July 2019 in recognition of its leadership role in Arab media growth. At the forefront of this growth is the TECOM Group’s media clusters, Dubai Media City (DMC), Dubai Studio City (DSC) and Dubai Production City (DPC). Established in 2001, Dubai Media City is home to 2,000 media companies and 33,000 industry professionals from across the region and the world.

Dubai Press Club, another major player in the growth of the region’s media industry, has launched several initiatives to foster industry excellence. Its major initiatives include the Arab Media Forum (AMF), the region’s largest media gathering; the Arab Journalism Award (AJA); the Emirati Media Forum (EMF); and the Arab Social Media Influencers Club (ASMIC).

Despite the current global crisis, DPC has continued to collaborate with the Secretariat General of the Arab League to launch initiatives and projects aimed at promoting the skill development of media professionals.

**Logo**

DPC unveiled the logo for Dubai’s title as the ‘Capital of Arab Media for 2020’ during its 20th anniversary celebrations. The ceremony was held in January in the presence of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a number of Arab information ministers, prominent officials and members of the media community. Designed by a young Emirati artist Reem Al Shamsi, a senior design student at the American University in Dubai, the logo features the title in both English and Arabic in bold letters.

إطلاق حزم توفير للطرود المرسلة إلى الهند توفر خيارات شحن آمنة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة للشركات والأفراد
أعلن بريد الإمارات عن استئناف عملياته إلى الهند، وتوفير خياراً فعالاً من حيث التكلفة لسكان الإمارات والشركات لشحن البضائع إلى سابع أكبر اقتصاد في العالم. وتنطوي هذه الخطوة إلى مواصلة جميع الخدمات مثل البريد الاقتصادي والبريد العادي والبريد المسجل والطرود العادية (ستاندرد) والسريعة (اكسبرس)، حيث أن عمليات الشحن والتوصيل كانت محدودة بسبب القيود المفروضة على السفر والنقل جراء جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد "كوفيد 19".

ويوفر استئناف العمليات وسيلة ملائمة للجالية الهندية الكبيرة في دولة الإمارات لإرسال السلع المنزلية والأدوات الإلكترونية الشخصية والهدايا. كما ويقدم بريد الإمارات حزم توفير للطرود بأسعار 162 درهمًا مقابل وزن 10 كجم و262 درهماً مقابل وزن 20 كجم.

بدوره، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات: "مع عودة عجلة الحياة على دورانها بحذر في العالم مرة أخرى، فإن إعادة إنشاء قنوات التبادل مع أبرز شركائنا العالميين مثل الهند سيشكل خطوة هامة في تعزيز النمو الاجتماعي والاقتصادي مرة أخرى. لطالما كانت الهند واحدة من أسواقنا الرئيسية، وذلك بفضل جاليتها الكبيرة التي تحتضنها دولة الإمارات، ففي عام 2019، قمنا بنقل 180 طناً من الطرود الصغيرة إلى جميع أنحاء الهند، ونتوقع أن يواصل هذا الرقم نموه على أساس سنوي. وفيما ننتقل إلى النصف الثاني من العام، فإننا نتطلع إلى دعم الأفراد والشركات التي تتخذ من دولة الإمارات مقراً لها، عبر نظام سريع لإرسال السلع والشحنات والطرود الأساسية ".

وبالشراكة مع البريد الهندي، تمكن بريد الإمارات من توسيع شبكته لتصل إلى جميع أنحاء الهند لتتضمن المناطق الرئيسية في نيودلهي ومومباي وكولكاتا وتشيناي بالإضافة إلى المدن عبر ولاية كيرالا، والتي تستقبل أكبر حجم من المواد البريدية من دولة الإمارات.

وبالتزامن مع استئناف الخدمات البريدية، يواصل بريد الإمارات تطبيق إجراءات صارمة للصحة والسلامة كجزء من استجابته لتفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد "كوفيد 19"، حيث زاد من وتيرة عمليات التعقيم والتطهير في جميع الفروع ومراكز الفرز والتوزيع ومركبات التوصيل وجميع الطرود الواردة إلى مراكز الفرز، بالإضافة إلى فحص درجة حرارة جميع موظفي التوصيل يومياً وتجهيزهم بمعدات الحماية الشخصية اللازمة لضمان إجراء عمليات التوصيل دون لمس.

Emirates Post has re-started operations to India, providing a cost-effective option to UAE residents and businesses to ship goods to the world’s seventh largest economy. The move marks the continuance of all services - Economy Mail, Standard Mail, Registered Mail, Standard Packets, Standard Parcels and Express Parcels - after a period of limited operations in the wake of restrictions imposed on the travel and transport due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The reopened channel provides UAE’s large Indian expat population a convenient way to send shipments, including household goods, personal electronic items and gifts back home. Emirates Post is also offering saver bundles for parcels of 10 kg at AED 162 and 20 kg at AED 262.

“As the world cautiously opens back up, re-establishing channels of exchange with our key global partners like India will be critical to strengthening socio-economic growth once again,” **stated HE Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group.** “India has always been one of our key markets, thanks to the large expat community in the UAE. Last year alone, we moved 180 tons of small packets and parcels all across India and we expect this to grow year-on-year. As we go into the second half of the year, we are looking forward to supporting UAE-based businesses as well as individuals with a seamless and speedy system to send essential and non-essential goods.”

In partnership with India Post, Emirates Post has established a wide network all across the country, including the main metropolitan areas of New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai as well as cities and towns across Kerala, which receives the highest volume of post from the UAE.

In tandem with the reopening of the route, Emirates Post continues to employ stringent measures as part of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Health and safety protocols include regular sanitization of all branches, sorting and delivery centers, offices, delivery vehicles, including all mail and parcel items that enter the facilities. It has also ensured that all its couriers have their temperature checked daily and are equipped with the personal protective equipment needed to conduct contactless shipments.

International Postal Services Resume to Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey

أعلن بريد الإمارات عن استئناف جميع الخدمات البريدية وتوصيل الطرود إلى باكستان، ما يوفر لمجتمع الجالية الباكستانية في دولة الإمارات بالإضافة إلى قطاع الأعمال، قناة فعالة من حيث التكلفة إلى هذا السوق الضخم. وتعد باكستان أحد الأسواق الرئيسية لبريد الإمارات في منطقة جنوب آسيا، إذ استأثرت بنحو 80 طناً من المواد البريدية في العام 2019.
وبدوره، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة مجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: "تشكل باكستان أحد أكثر الأسواق ازدحاماً لأعمالنا، ويسعدنا إعادة تقديم الخدمات البريدية بعد تعليقها المؤقت بسبب تداعيات تفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد "كوفيد 19". حيث أن المجتمع الباكستاني يعد جزءاً من النسيج الاجتماعي والاقتصادي لدولة الإمارات، لذا تمكنّا من خلال شبكتنا من إنشاء آلية ملائمة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة تسمح للجالية الباكستانية الاعتماد عليها لإرسال الطرود والسلع المنزلية والإلكترونيات بالإضافة إلى المنتجات الأخرى ليتم بيعها في باكستان".

 

تم استئناف عمل جميع الخدمات البريدية - البريد الاقتصادي والبريد العادي والبريد المسجل والطرود العدية (ستاندرد) والسريعة لجميع أنحاء باكستان بما في ذلك المراكز التجارية الرئيسية مثل كراتشي ولاهور وكذلك المناطق الاستراتيجية مثل بيشاور، روالبندي وفيصل آباد وكويتا. أما بخصوص طرق الشحن يستخدم بريد الإمارات خدمات الشحن الجوي لنقل الشحنات إلى باكستان والاستفادة من شبكة البريد الباكستاني داخل الدولة لضمان عمليات التسليم بكل سهولة وسلاسة.

 

واستناداً إلى حجم العمليات والبضائع واختيار خط النقل، تمكن بريد الإمارات من التفاوض على أفضل الأسعار، ليقدم للمتعاملين أحد أكثر حلول الشحن البريدية فعالية من حيث التكلفة والتوصيل في غضون 4 أيام أو 21 يوماً بناءً على الحاجة والخدمة المختارة، وبأسعار تبدأ من 47 درهماً مقابل 1 كجم و83 درهماً مقابل 5 كجم.

 

 ومع استئناف الخدمات البريدية، يواصل بريد الإمارات تطبيق كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية والتدابير الوقائية وإرشادات منظمة الصحة العالمية للحد من تفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد "كوفيد 19"، حيث أن بريد الامارات زاد من وتيرة عمليات التعقيم والتطهير في جميع الفروع ومراكز الفرز والتوزيع ومركبات التوصيل وجميع الطرود الواردة إلى مراكز الفرز، بالإضافة إلى فحص درجة حرارة جميع موظفي التوصيل يومياً وتجهيزهم بمعدات الحماية الشخصية اللازمة لضمان إجراء عمليات التوصيل دون لمس.

“Pakistan is one of our busiest markets, and we are thrilled to reinstate services, following a temporary suspension due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Pakistani community is an integral part of UAE’s socio-economic tapestry and through our network we have created a convenient, cost-effective, and dependable mechanism for the community to send gifts, home goods, electronics as well as retail products to be resold in Pakistan,” stated **HE Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group.**

Effective immediately, all postal services - Economy Mail, Standard Mail, Registered Mail, Standard Packets, Standard Parcels and Express Parcels – will be available to the country, including the main commercial centres of Karachi and Lahore as well as strategic regions such as Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Quetta to name a few. Emirates Post will be using airfreight uplift to transport shipments to Pakistan and availing of Pakistan Post’s network within the country to ensure smooth delivery processes.

Emirates Post has been able to negotiate the best prices for its customers due to the scale of its operations, volume of goods and line-haul choice.  With prices starting from 47AED for 1kg and 83AED for 5kg, Emirates Post offers one of the most cost-effective postal shipping solutions to Pakistan within 4 days or 21 days based on need and service chosen.

Emirates Post’s new logo and website reflects the brand’s orientation as a contemporary and digitized organisation. The modern updated logo maintains the Emirati identity reflected in the organization’s falcon and represents its key sub-divisions – Retail, Parcels & Express, and International.
