        تمثِّل استضافة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة للنسخة الـ 28 من مؤتمر اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ COP28 هذا العام فرصةً هامةً لإبراز التزام الدولة بمبادئ الحماية البيئية والنمو المستدام للأعمال، حيث سيجمع هذا المؤتمر الدولي البارز القادة من جميع أنحاء العالم، بما فيهم 80 ألف مندوب رسمي و140 رئيس دولة وأكثر من 5 آلاف إعلامي، للبحث في قضية التغير المناخي وأهمية حشد الجهود لبناء مستقبل مستدام. كما يساهم هذا الحدث في ترسيخ مكانة دولة الإمارات كمركزٍ للنمو الاقتصادي المستدام، والتأكيد على ضرورة اتباع الممارسات الصديقة للبيئة في جميع القطاعات، بما في ذلك التصنيع والسياحة والخدمات اللوجستية.
يعتبر قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية أحد القطاعات الحيوية في الاقتصاد العالمي، حيث يساعد في تسهيل حركة البضائع وضمان توفّر المنتجات ودعم مختلف القطاعات. إلَّا أنه في الوقت ذاته يعد أحد المسببين لانبعاثات الغازات الدفيئة، في ظل استخدامه للوقود الأحفوري في عمليات النقل والتخزين الأمر الذي يؤثّر بدوره سلباً على البيئة. في هذا الصدد، يمكننا المساهمة في التخفيف من الأثر البيئي من خلال تعزيز تبني الممارسات البيئية المستدامة كأولوية أساسية، ويشمل ذلك استخدام المنشآت والمخازن التي تعمل وفق أعلى معايير الاستدامة وكفاءة الطاقة المستخدمة، بالإضافة إلى  المركبات التي تستخدم الوقود البديل وطرق النقل المثلى، إلى جانب تطبيق حلول التغليف المستدامة. يلعب شركاء الأعمال دوراً مهماً في هذا المجال، حيث يجب التأكد من التزامهم بمعايير الاستدامة للمساهمة في تطوير مجمع أعمال صديق للبيئة.   
بالإضافة الى ذلك، تحرص الشركات اليوم على النظر في الأثر البيئي الناجم عن عملياتها، في ظلِّ المخاوف البيئية والحاجة إلى تحقيق الاستدامة، والتي من شأنها رسم ملامح جديدة لقطاع اللوجستيات، ويستدعي ذلك الاستثمار في التكنولوجيا وتطبيق استراتيجية التحوّل الرقمي المتكاملة للحد من البصمة البيئية  من خلال   تحقيق التنقل النظيف  وخفض التكاليف وتعزيز سلاسة العمليات. ومن المؤكد أن الشركات التي تتقاعس عن اعتماد الممارسات الصديقة للبيئة والتكيف مع التوجهات الجديدة ستتعرَّض لمخاطر طويلة الأمد ستعرقل استمراريتها وتنمية أعمالها مستقبلاً.
وتقدّم التقنيات الرقمية الحديثة حلولاً مختلفة لخفض الأثر البيئي الناجم عن أعمال قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية، ويتوجَّب على قادة الأعمال تحديد التقنيات التي تتماشى مع نموذج الأعمال الخاص بالشركة وتطوير استراتيجيات  الرقمنة المرنة، بالإضافة إلى دمج المركبات الكهربائية في أعمالها، والتي تحد من انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة والاعتماد على الوقود الأحفوري. علاوة على ذلك، فإن تبني مصادر الطاقة المتجددة من خلال تسخير الطاقة الشمسية أو طاقة الرياح أو غيرها من بدائل الطاقة المستدامة المستخدمة في تشغيل العمليات، يقلل من البصمة الكربونية.

        As the host nation of COP 28 this year, the UAE has an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable business growth. Leaders from all over the world, including over 80,000 delegates, 140 government and state heads, and more than 5,000 media professionals, will gather at this international conference to discuss the pressing issue of climate change and work towards a more sustainable future. The conference presents an ideal opportunity for the UAE to emphasise its position as a hub for sustainable economic growth and further highlight the significance of eco-friendly practises in every sector, including manufacturing, tourism, and logistics. 

The logistics industry plays a critical role in the global economy by facilitating the movement of goods, ensuring the availability of products, and supporting various industries. However, it also t contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, primarily through the use of fossil fuels in transportation and warehousing activities, which have a major impact on the environment. Prioritising the implementation of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices such as ensuring the buildings and warehouses we operate from are sustainably run with improved energy efficiency, the vehicles we operate are using alternative fuels and optimized transportation routes, and using sustainable packaging solutions, can help mitigate the environmental impact. Ensuring business partners also operate in a sustainable manner helps to create an environmentally conscious business community or model.

As rising concerns for sustainability reshape the logistics sector, companies are compelled to consider the environmental implications of their operations. This necessitates investing in technology and implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy to mitigate the environmental footprint through cleaner transportation, lower costs, and streamlined operations. Failure to adopt greener practices and adapt to new ways or working, exposes companies to long-term risks in business growth. 

To significantly reduce the environmental impact of logistics, emerging digital technologies offer various avenues for improvement. As industry leaders, we must carefully select technologies that align with our business needs and develop robust digitization strategies. Integrating electric vehicles will enable the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and dependency on fossil fuels. Additionally, embracing renewable energy sources through harnessing the power of solar, wind, or other sustainable energy alternatives to power operations, further minimizes one's carbon footprint.  

At Emirates Post Group, we recognize that our actions today have a lasting impact on the environment, society, and the well-being of future generations.         أصبحت التكنولوجيا جزءاً لا يتجزأ من حياتنا اليومية، كما أنها أحدثت تحولات كبيرة في مُختلف القطاعات خلال العقد الماضي وعلى سبيل المثال، الخدمات المالية. بناء على ذلك، تزايد حرص الشركات على الجمع بين الخدمات المالية والابتكار التكنولوجي، لتعزيز تجربة المتعاملين، وزيادة سلاسة العديد من الخدمات، مثل سداد المدفوعات وإدارة ثروات الأفراد وإرسال واستلام الأموال.    
في عصرنا اليوم، تعد التكنولوجيا المالية إحدى أسرع القطاعات نمواً لذلك تحرص مجموعة بريد الإمارات على الاستفادة من الفرص المتاحة في هذا المجال. من المتوقع أن ينمو سوق التكنولوجيا المالية العالمي بمعدل نمو سنوي يبلغ 11.9% في الفترة من 2022 إلى 2027، ليصل إلى 266.9 مليار دولار بحلول العام  2027. كما أن دولة الإمارات تضم أكثر من 400 شركة تعمل في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية . 
شكلت جائحة "كوفيد-19" نقطة تحول بالنسبة لقطاع التكنولوجيا المالية، حيث سارعت الشركات إلى توفير الحلول للمتعاملين لتمكينهم من الاستفادة من الخدمات المالية الرئيسية بأمان من منازلهم. تمكنت بعض القطاعات من العودة إلى وضعها وأدائها ما قبل "كوفيد-19"، في حين واصلت التكنولوجيا المالية تطورها مستعينةً بالابتكارات الذكية.  
بدأت رحلتنا في "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" منذ حوالي 20 عاماً، وأدركنا خلال هذه السنوات إمكانيات قطاع الخدمات المالية. كما استثمرنا في عام 2005 في "وول ستريت للصرافة"، وهي شركة صرافة مرخصة في دولة الإمارات، وقمنا بالاستحواذ على الشركة بالكامل إلى جانب "انستانت كاش"، شركة تحويل الأموال الدولية، في العام 2012. وبحلول العام 2021. رسخت التكنولوجيا المالية حضورها عبر إحداث تحولاتٍ جذرية في الخدمات المالية التي أدت إلى تغيراتٍ واسعة على صعيد تجربة المتعاملين وتوقعاتهم لتتيح فرصاً كبيرة لتطوير نماذج أعمال جديدة وتقديم خدمات مبتكرة. 
أنشأت مجموعة بريد الإمارات ذراعها للتكنولوجيا المالية "فينتكس" (FINTX)، وأطلقتها رسمياً في معرض "جيتكس غلوبال 2022".  تقود الشركة الجديدة التحول في جميع شركات الخدمات المالية القائمة، وتتطلع لإنشاء مشاريع جديدة والاستثمار فيها. رؤية "فينتكس" تتمثل حول إنشاء منظومة للتكنولوجيا المالية في دولة الإمارات وخارجها، وتغطية مجموعة واسعة من الخدمات المالية المخصصة للشركات والأفراد لتستطيع تلبية مُختلف متطلبات المستهلكين.  
برزت دولة الإمارات اليوم مركزاً رائد في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية في المنطقة، لذلك يواصل قطاع التكنولوجيا المالية النمو والمساهمة في تعزيز مكانة دولة الإمارات مركزاً عالمياً للابتكار نتيجة الى ذلك، نعتمد على موارد "فينتكس" وخبراتها الواسعة في مجال الخدمات المالية، لتحظى مجموعة بريد الإمارات بمركز يؤهلها وتصبح لها دور فعال ورئيسياً في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية داخل دولة الإمارات وخارجها.

        Technology is embedded in our everyday lives like never before, with the financial services sector witnessing significant transformations over the past decade. Although we have seen some industries revert to pre-COVID market conditions, FinTech, on the other hand, is continuing to push the innovation boundaries.

At Emirates Post Group, our journey started nearly 20 years ago, when EPG realised the potential of the financial services sector and invested in Wall Street Exchange (licensed exchange house in the UAE) in 2005, fully acquiring the company along with Instant Cash (money transfer operator operating internationally), in 2012. By 2021, FinTech had radically transformed financial services which in turn fundamentally changed the expectations of customers. This shift has created major opportunities to develop new business models and provide new experiences to the customers.

Accordingly, Emirates Post Group created FINTX, its new FinTech initiative, which was officially launched at GITEX Global 2022. ويتولى "بريد الإمارات" بموجب هذه الاتفاقية خدمات استلام وتوصيل معدات اختبار الجينات من "مختبرات دانتي" إلى المتعاملين في جميع أنحاء الدولة، إلى جانب تخصيص عدد من مراكز إسعاد المتعاملين لدى "بريد الإمارات" كنقاط بيع وتسليم لمعدات الاختبار. وتبرز أهمية الاختبارات الجينية في قدرتها على رصد التغيرات في الجينات البشرية التي يمكن أن تسبب الأمراض المختلفة، لذا فإن جمع معلومات دقيقة ومخصصة من خلال هذه الاختبارات يساهم في تعزيز صحة وسلامة أفراد المجتمع.

وحرصاً منا على مواكبة التطور التكنولوجي المتسارع، أصدرنا في "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" 4 طوابع مبتكرة استناداً إلى تقنية "الرموز غير القابلة للاستبدال" (NFT)، في إنجازٍ نوعي هو الأول إقليمياً على صعيد تبنّي التقنيات المتطورة في إصدار الطوابع البريدية. وجاءت الخطوة في إطار احتفالاتنا باليوبيل الذهبي الذي يمثل محطة مفصلية في تاريخ الإمارات التي تستعد لخمسين عاماً جديدة من التقدم والنماء، مدعومةً بخطط طموحة لبناء اقتصاد مستقبلي قائم على المعرفة والابتكار والتكنولوجيا المتقدّمة، وفي مقدمتها "البلوك تشين" وحلول الثورة الصناعية الرابعة. 

وتتفرّد طوابعنا المبتكرة باحتوائها على نظائر رقمية مخزنة في نظام "البلوك تشين"، ما يتيح إمكانية جمعها وبيعها وتداولها واستخدامها للتبادل عبر شبكة الإنترنت باعتبارها مقتنيات رقمية مرتبطة بنظيراتها من الطوابع التقليدية. وسيتمكن حاملو الطوابع من رؤية التصميم الرقمي المرتبط بالطابع الفعلي بعد مسح رمز الاستجابة السريعة المطبوع على الجانب الأمامي للبطاقة، حيث تتضمن الطوابع شريحة "إن.إف.سي" (NFC) مشفرة ومقفلة لغرض التحقق باستخدام أي هاتف ذكي مزود بقارئ "إن.إف.سي".

This new generation of stamps uses blockchain technology and EPG issued them to mark the nation's Golden Jubilee this year. The stamps depict the UAE's historical milestones as well as its preparation for the next 50 years of sustainable development and growth. In line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the tech-based stamps symbolize the country's ambitious plans to build a future economy based on knowledge, innovation, and advanced technology - primarily blockchain.</p><p>Our innovative stamps feature digital twin technology within the blockchain, allowing them to be collected, sold, traded, and used online. The traditional stamp has a digital counterpart, and the stamp holder will be able to see the digital version after scanning the QR Code printed on the card.&nbsp; The card holder will be able to verify the encrypted and locked NFC included in the physical stamp using their smartphone or an NFC reader.&nbsp;</p><p>The issuance of these NFT stamps reflects the success of our tireless efforts to establish a robust technological infrastructure that will further enhance and strengthen postal operations in the UAE. The step is a testament to our keenness to harness the power of technology, which His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, underlined as the key pillar and foundation to shaping the future.</p><p>There is no doubt that the importance of innovative technologies is magnified further by the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.         على مدى السنوات، نجحت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في ترسيخ مكانتها كحاضنةٍ لتلاقي الحضارات، ولعبت دوراً ريادياً في بناء جسور التواصل الثقافي والفكري بين الدول، وقدمت للعالم نموذجاً يُحتذى به في دعم الإبداع الفني وإحياء التراث والاحتفاء بالموروث الثقافي. 
تشكل المعارض والمُلتقيات الثقافية والفكرية قنوات هامة للتواصل الحضاري، والاحتفاء بالتراث الإنساني، وإبراز ملامح حياة المُجتمعات من منظور فني وأدبي واجتماعي، واستكشاف آفاق التعاون بين المؤسسات والدول في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. كما تتيح هذه الفعاليات للدول الحاضنة تعزيز حضورها ومشاركتها على خارطة الثقافة العالمية، وتأكيد مكانتها كمركزٍ للتبادل المعرفي والتواصل الفكري، وإبراز ما حققته من تقدمٍ وتطور. 
الطوابع التذكارية تكتسب قيمةً ثقافية وتاريخية كبيرة، وتمثل أدواتٍ لتوثيق الصفحات المضيئة في مسيرة النهضة الإنسانية، ورصد الوقائع والأحداث، وتدوين الإنجازات التي تركت بصمتها في تاريخ الأُمم والشعوب على مدى القرون الماضية. ومن هذا المُنطلق، قُمنا مؤخراً في "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بتنظيم "المعرض الدولي للطوابع - الإمارات 2022"، بالتعاون مع "جمعية الإمارات لهواة الطوابع". ومثَّل هذا الحدث المعرض الدولي الأول للطوابع على مستوى الشرق الأوسط، حيث استقطب 175 عارضاً من 27 دولة من الشرق الأوسط وآسيا وأفريقيا وأوروبا وأمريكا وأوقيانوسيا.    
وعلى مدى خمسة أيام، شكَّل هذا الحدث منصةً للاحتفاء بالطوابع النادرة والإصدارات البريدية التذكارية، وتسليط الضوء على هواية جمع الطوابع واقتناء المسكوكات النادرة ودراسة جذورها التاريخية، وبناء جسور للتواصل والتعاون بين محبي جمع الطوابع والمهتمين بدراستها ومالكي المجموعات النادرة والجهات البريدية وموزعي الطوابع. واحتضن أيضاً العديد من المقتنيات النادرة، من أبرزها مجموعة طوابع أبوظبي، والتي تعود إلى الفترة من 1963 لغاية افتتاح بريد أبوظبي في 1972؛ ومجموعة تاريخ بريد دبي، والتي واكبت مراحل تطور الخدمة البريدية في الإمارة خلال الفترة من 1909 إلى 1948؛ ومجموعة طوابع مكتب بريد سلطنة عمان (1830 - 1948)؛ إلى جانب عددٍ من المعروضات العالمية ذات قيمة تاريخية كبيرة. وأقيمت على هامش المعرض مسابقةٌ تنافس خلالها العارضون، وتمَّ تكريم أفضل المجموعات بناءً على تقييم لجنةٍ من الخبراء والمختصين. كما أتاح المعرض الدولي للطوابع منبراً للتواصل المعرفي والفكري، حيث شهد إقامة سلسلة من الندوات الحوارية والجلسات التوعوية، تحدَّث خلالها خبراء وباحثون عن أهمية الطوابع ودورها في مواكبة الحضارة الإنسانية، وقدرتها على نقل صورة لحياة المجتمعات خلال حِقَب زمنية مختلفة.   
ونجح هذا الملتقى العالمي بتحقيق رسالته الرئيسية في تسليط الضوء على قيمة الطوابع والمجموعات البريدية التذكارية، وإبراز دورها في توثيق الإنجازات التي رسمت ملامح الحضارة وحفظها في الذاكرة الإنسانية، وعرض مراحل تطور المنظومة البريدية محلياً وإقليمياً وعالمياً. وأبرز هذا الحدث أهمية هواية جمع الطوابع ودورها في تنمية الثقافة والمعرفة والتشجيع على دراسة تاريخ الدول.   
في "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" نفخر بالأصداء الإيجابية التي حققتها الدورة الأولى من المعرض الدولي للطوابع، ونعتز بأنَّ هذا الحدث ترك بصمته في المشهد الثقافي، وساهم في ترسيخ مكانة الإمارات كمركزٍ عالمي لتواصل الحضارات والثقافات، بالتزامن مع "إكسبو 2020 دبي" حيث يلتقي العالم على أرض الإمارات.     
مما لا شكَّ فيه أن "المعرض الدولي للطوابع - الإمارات 2022" شكَّل سابقةً على مستوى منظومة العمل البريدي إقليمياً، وفتح آفاقاً جديدة لثقافة اقتناء الطوابع، فاسحاً المجال أمام إقامة المزيد من فعاليات ومُلتقيات التواصل الفكري والثقافي المُستَلهَمة من نجاح هذا الحدث والتجربة الرائدة لدولة الإمارات في تشجيع تلاقي الحضارات.

Commemorative stamps have significant historical and cultural value as they document a nation's important milestones in human evolution and highlight major achievements throughout the years. With this in mind, and in recognizing the importance of nurturing and strengthening the culture of philately, Emirates Post Group (EPG) recently hosted the "Emirates 2022 World Stamp Exhibition" in collaboration with the Emirates Philatelic Association (EPA). 
This first-of-its-kind international philatelic exhibition in the region featured 175 exhibits from 27 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, America, and Oceania. The five-day-long event successfully created a platform to celebrate unique philatelic exhibits, rare stamp collections, commemorative issuances and emphasized the significance of nurturing and strengthening the collection and study of postage stamps. Moreover, the event also aided in creating networking opportunities among philately enthusiasts, notable stamp collectors, and philatelic dealers. 
A few of the unique exhibits worth mentioning were the Abu Dhabi postage stamp collection dating from 1963 up until the opening of the Abu Dhabi post office in 1972; the collection of stamps that documented the postal history of Dubai from 1909 - 1948; and the collection of Oman postage stamps from 1830 - 1948.  A competition was also organized as part of the exhibition, in which some of the featured exhibits received recognition from an international committee of judges and commissioners. In addition, field experts held insightful philatelic seminars, underlining the significance of philately in culture, civilization, and human life in general. 
One of the major objectives, accomplished with the successful completion of this global exhibition, was to bring the role of commemorative postage stamps in documenting landmarks and historical events to the spotlight. Besides this, commemorative stamps, which also showcase the postal history and evolution of the global postal system, play a vital role in enriching culture, knowledge creation, and encouraging historical explorations. 
We are delighted about the success and popularity gained by the first-of-its-kind philatelic event in the region. We are positive that this exhibition, which was held in conjunction with Expo 2020 Dubai, has contributed to strengthening the UAE's position as a hub of cultural exchange and celebrated the nation's rich heritage and cultural richness. 
The success of the Emirates 2022 World Stamp Exhibition will be instrumental in further enhancing the culture of philately in the UAE and the Middle East and pave the way for more relevant events and intellectual forums.
