احتفلت مجموعة بريد الإمارات بيوم العَلَمْ في جميع مراكز إسعاد المتعاملين في الدولة والتي تضمنت عدد من الفعاليات الوطنية بمناسبة يوم "العَلم" وذلك استجابة لمبادرة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، الذي دعا إلى بدء حملة شعبية للاحتفاء بيوم العَلَمْ الذي يوافق الثالث من شهر نوفمبر، والذي يصادف ذكرى تولي صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، رئاسة الدولة ووجه سموه جميع الجهات الاتحادية إلى رفع عَلَمْ الدولة بشكل متزامن في تمام الساعة 11 صباحاً، لتأكيد أن عَلَمْنا هو رمز وحدتنا وعزتنا وعزيمتنا لمواصلة الجهود لتحقيق مستقبل أفضل لأبناء هذا الوطن الغالي.

وبهذه المناسبة تقدم سعادة سلطان المدفع الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالإنابة بالتهنئة الى قيادة وشعب الإمارات، وأضاف بان عَلم دولة الإمارات هو رمز السلام والأمان والفرح والسعادة والالتفاف حول الوطن وقيادته، ويحق لشعب دولة الإمارات أن يفخر بهذه المناسبة العزيزة على قلوبنا بمسيرة النهضة الشاملة التي يقودها صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة "حفظه الله حيث اصبحت دولة الإمارات بفضل هذه المسيرة المباركة من أفضل دول العالم.

Emirates Post Group joined the UAE Flag Day activities by hoisting the national flag at its headquarters in Um Ramool and across all its Customer Happiness Centers, as part of the nation-wide celebrations.

The UAE celebrates Flag Day on November 3 each year, as per the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, to honor the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as President of the UAE.

"Emirates Post Group takes great pride in honoring the UAE Flag which symbolizes the nation's values of peace, tolerance, and harmony," said **Mr. Sultan Al Midfa, Deputy Group CEO at Emirates Post Group**. "Flag Day is a great occasion to recognize the importance of the nation's continuous efforts towards overall success, progress, and happiness. The event truly evoked feelings of patriotism and loyalty amongst all who participated."

نظّم بريد الإمارات اليوم احتفالية بمناسبة اليوم العالمــي للبريــد، الــذي يوافـــق التاسع من شهر أكتوبر كلّ عام، وذلك في متحف الاتحاد، الصرح الوطني الذي يروي قصة تأسيس ونجاح دولة الإمارات وتميزها،كما كرّم الفائزين بالمسابقة الدولية لكتابة الرسائل للشباب التابعة للاتحاد البريدي العالمي في نسختها المحلية الخاصة بدولة الإمارات.

ومنذ عام 1969، يحتفل العالم باليوم العالمي للبريد وتشارك أكثر من 150 دولة في إحياء هذه المناسبة التي تتزامن مع الذكرى السنوية لتأسيس الاتحاد البريدي العالمي عام 1874، ويستمدّ احتفال هذا العام أهميته من تزامنه مع مرور 145 عاماً على تأسيس الاتحاد البريدي العالمي علاوة على الاحتفال بمرور 50 عاماً على إعلان مؤتمر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي ليوم 9 أكتوبر يوماً عالمياً للبريد.

وتجوّل المشاركون في الحفل في أروقة متحف الاتحاد حيث تعرفوا عن قرب على سيرة وأمجاد دولة الإمارات، ورؤية الآباء المؤسسين والتزامهم تجاه وطنهم، كما تضمن الحفل عرض فيديو سلّط الضوء على مسيرة الخدمات البريدية في دولة الإمارات من مرحلة ما قبل الاتحاد وحتى يومنا هذا، من خلال استعراض مجموعة من الطوابع البريدية، وتكلّل الاحتفال بإعلان أسماء الفائزين في المسابقة الدولية لكتابة الرسائل للشباب وتوزيع الجوائز.

وخلال كلمته في الاحتفال، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: "يشكّل احتفالنا باليوم العالمي للبريد هنا في متحف الاتحاد، فرصة مثالية لنثمن الدور المحوري الذي اضطلع به الاتحاد للارتقاء بمشهد قطاع الخدمات البريدية على الصعيد العالمي، ويعتز بريد الإمارات بعضويته في هذه المؤسسة الدولية المرموقة منذ العام 1973، أي بعد عامين على إعلان اتحاد الإمارات السبع تحت راية دولة الإمارات، والذي قاد فيما بعد إلى توحيد الخدمات البريدية في الدولة".

وأضاف سعادته: "يجسد موضوع الاحتفال لهذا العام "تحقيق التنمية" الجهود المتواصلة التي يبذلها الاتحاد البريدي العالمي لإيجاد سبل جديدة ومبتكرة لإضفاء القيمة على الشبكة البريدية الدولية في ظل التحديات الحالية التي يواجهها القطاع، ونحن ملتزمون معاً بوضع الاستراتيجيات التي من شأنها مساعدتنا على مواكبة المستقبل ورفع سقف الطموحات لمجتمعاتنا وموظفينا".

و تعليقاً على المسابقة ، قال عبيد محمد القطامي، المدير التنفيذي التجاري بالوكالة في مجموعة بريد الإمارات: "ترمي مسابقة كتابة الرسائل الدولية التي ينظمها الاتحاد البريدي العالمي إلى الحفاظ على فنّ الكتابة اليدوية وتحفيز الشباب على التخيّل والإبداع والتعبير عن مكنونات ذاتهم بالكلمة المكتوبة، واليوم أشعر بسعادة غامرة لأنه وبالرغم من سيطرة العصر الرقمي على كافة جوانب حياتنا، لا تزال الأجيال الصغيرة تتقن فن الكتابة وتقدم هذا المستوى المتميز والمبدع، وهذا العام، طُلب من المشاركين كتابة رسالة عن أبطالهم، وهو ما يتماشى مع إقامة الاحتفال هنا في متحف الاتحاد بين آبائنا المؤسسين، وبالنيابة عن بريد الإمارات، أود أن أتقدّم بجزيل الشكر لجميع المشاركين، وتهنئة الفائزين، وأتمنّى لهم مواصلة النجاح في المستقبل".

وقد بدأ الاتحاد البريدي العالمي بتنظيم مسابقة كتابة الرسائل الدولية عام 1971 حيث وجّه الدعوة للشباب دون الــ 15 عاماً لكتابة رسائل حول موضوع معين للفوز بجوائز قيّمة. وفازت بالجائزة الكبرى الأولى شما سعيد عبد الله المعمري، تلميذة في مدرسة الزهور الخاصة، حيث مثّلت دولة الإمارات برسالتها المكتوبة باللغة العربية في التدقيق الدولي للمسابقة الدولية التي قامت في مقر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي في برن. فيما حل في المرتبتين الثانية والثالثة يوسف محمد سرور، تلميذ في مدرسة الشارقة الدولية الخاصة وشادن ماهر حواري، تلميذة في مدرسة المنارة الخاصة على التوالي.

Emirates Post celebrated World Post Day with an awards ceremony in which the UAE winners of the UPU International Letter Writing Competition were honoured. Fittingly, the event was held at the Etihad Museum, which chronicles the birth of the UAE. Since 1969, World Post Day has been celebrated annually on 09 October in more than 150 countries worldwide to commemorate the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874, and this year's event marked two special milestones - both the Universal Postal Union's 145th anniversary and 50 years since the declaration of World Post Day,

After a welcome reception, guests were given a tour of the museum before being shown an animated video, highlighting the Journey of Postal Services through stamps from before unification up until today. The event culminated in an awards ceremony in the auditorium where the winners were announced and presented with their prizes.

Speaking at the event, **His Excellency Abdulla M. Alashram, Acting Group CEO of** **Emirates Post Group** said, "World Post Day marks the founding of the United Postal Union and, we are excited to celebrate the pivotal role it plays in international postal affairs at the Etihad Museum."

He added, "Emirates Post has been a proud member of UPU since joining in 1973, two years after the unification of the UAE, which subsequently led to the unification of the postal services within the Emirates. This year's theme 'Delivering Development' captures the UPU's continuous efforts to find new and innovative ways to deliver value to the international postal network and, given the current challenges within the industry, together we are committed to developing strategies to face the future and raise the standards of the postal industry for employees and the communities in which we operate."

Commenting on the competition **Obaid M. Al Qatami, Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Post said**, "The UPU Letter Writing Competition is a great initiative, which preserves the art of hand-writing and encourages children to express their creativity through the written word. I am extremely pleased that, in a digital age, letter writing is still being practiced by the younger generation to such a high standard. This year's theme was to write about one's heroes, which makes it all the more fitting that today's event is being hosted at the Etihad Museum amongst our heroes the Founding Fathers. On behalf of Emirates Post, I would like to thank everyone who entered and congratulate our winners."

Established in 1971, the long-running competition invites children up to age 15 years to write letters on a given theme. This year, young writers were tasked with writing a letter about their heroes. There were over 100 submissions, the majority of which were in Arabic and the overall UAE winner was Shamma Saeed al-Memari a student from Al Zuhour Private School whose Arabic letter was UAE's submission to the international level competition at UPU headquarters in Bern. Second and third prize were awarded to Yousif Mohammad Sorour from Sharjah International Private Schooland Shaden Maher al-Hawwari from Al Manara Private School respectively.

استقبل سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة القنصل العام الفرنسي في دبي، سعادة رجاء رابيا، والوفد المرافق لها في المكتب الرئيسي بأم الرمول دبي، بحضور عدد من المسؤولين في المجموعة، كما استعرض الجانبان فرص التعاون وتطوير العمل البريدي المشترك وتبادل الخبرات بين البلدين.

وقال الأشرم، "تشرفنا بزيارة سعادة رجا رابيا وأعضاء الوفد. تلتزم مجموعة بريد الإمارات بتقديم خدمات وحلول بريدية ومالية مخصصة للشركات الفرنسية في الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وتشاركنا في عديد من المواضيع المتعلقة في الشأن اللوجيستي والتعاون المشترك مع الشركات الفرنسية والمجتمع الفرنسي داخل الدولة."

كما استعرض مع الوفد أهم القضايا المتعلقة بالشؤون البريدية، وأضاف: "إن الإنجازات التي حققتها مجموعة بريد الإمارات وعلى رأسها تطوير استراتيجيات عمليات البريد تتماشى مع حاجات اليوم وتطلعات المستقبل وبالشكل الذي يعزز من قدراتها التنافسية ويضمن توفير خدمات بريدية عالية المستوى للجمهور."

ومن جانبها تقدمت سعادة القنصل رجاء رابيا بالشكر والتقدير للمجموعة،كما أشادت بإنجازات مجموعة بريد الإمارات وجهودها في توفير معايير عالية من الحلول البريدية والمالية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وأكدوا على أهمية التعاون مع المنظمات والشركات الفرنسية لإعادة تأكيد العلاقات القائمة ودعم النمو المتبادل مستقبلاً.

ضم الوفد الفرنسي السيد أوريلين نيو، المستشار الاقتصادي، والسيد إيمانويل بريتشارد من بنك الاستثمار الفرنسي، والسيد فريديريك زابو، مدير الأعمال في فرنسا، والسيدة إيناس تاكي، المسؤول عن شراكات الابتكار لبنك الاستثمار الفرنسي الحكومي (BPIFrance) بحضور السيد عبيد محمد القطامي، المدير التنفيذي التجاري بالوكالة لمجموعة بريد الإمارات.

Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, HE Abdulla M. Alashram, welcomed a high-profile delegation from the French Consulate General in Dubai headed by HE Raja Rabia, Consul General of France in Dubai at Emirates Post Group Headquarters on 29 September 2019.

During the meeting, Alashram shared EPG's strategy and transformation initiatives that aim to achieve the vision of UAE's wise leadership. They also discussed the existing partnership with La Poste, the French postal authority, and ways in which to strengthen trade business between the two countries.

Speaking after the meeting, **HE** **Alashram** said, "It was an honor meeting with Her Excellency Raja Rabia and the members of the delegation. Emirates Post Group is committed to providing tailored postal and financial services and solutions to French businesses as well as the French community here in the UAE."

**HE Raja Rabia** commended EPG's achievements and efforts in providing high-standards of postal and financial solutions in the UAE and stressed the importance of cooperation with French organisations and companies to reaffirm established relations and support future mutual growth.

The delegation included Mr. Aurélien Neu, Economic Counsellor, Mr. Emmanuel Brechard of French Investment Bank, Mr. Frédéric Szabo, Business France Director, and Ms. Inès Taki, in charge of Innovation partnerships for Bpifrance; they were joined by Mr. Obaid M. Al Qatami, Acting Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group.

أعلن بريد الإمارات عن الغاء الرسوم الإدارية على مشتركي خدمة الصناديق البريدية من فئتي (الأفراد والشركات) اعتباراً من الأول من أكتوبر الجاري، وهي رسوم فرضت سابقاً بالتزامن مع فرض ضريبة القيمة المضافة على البريد الوارد الدولي لتغطية مصاريف إدارية تشمل ادخال بيانات قيمة المادة والضرائب المفروضة وتحصيل ضريبة القيمة المضافة.

ويأتي هذا القرار في إطار حرص بريد الإمارات لمتطلبات المتعاملين وبما يتماشى مع التزامه بتقديم أرقى مستويات الخدمة. وهذا بالتزامن مع توجيهات الحكومة بإعفاء أو تخفيض الرسوم للخدمات الحكومية الاتحادية لتخفيف الأعباء المالية على المتعاملين.

وبدوره، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: "نركز في اعمالنا على تعزيز خدمة المتعاملين والاستماع لاقتراحاتهم بما يتماشى مع رؤيتنا التي ترتكز على رضا وسعادة المتعاملين، وبينما نخوض عملية تحول في أعمالنا، يؤكد هذا الإعلان التزامنا الحثيث والمستمر تجاه المتعاملين لتجاوز توقعاتهم من خلال الخدمات التي نقدمها لهم، ونحن ممتنون لمقترحاتهم البناءة التي تسهم بلا شك في تسريع وتيرة مسيرة تطوير أعمالنا."

Emirates Post is pleased to announce that it is waiving its administration fee for customers with active PO Box subscriptions for corporate entities and individuals effective 01 October 2019. These fees were previously imposed on incoming (international) postal items to cover administrative expenses towards the VAT collection process including and not limited to data entry and the calculation of shipments' value and taxes.

The decision to waive the fee was made in response to customer feedback and is aligned with Emirates Post's commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer service. It also follows the government's directives to waive or reduce fees of federal government services to ease the financial burden on customers.

يصدر بريد الإمارات بالتعاون مع مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، مجموعة من الطوابع التذكارية يوم 25 سبتمبر 2019 احتفاءً بأول مهمة لبرنامج الإمارات لرواد الفضاء، والتي ستشهد انطلاق هزاع المنصوري أول رائد فضاء إماراتي إلى محطة الفضاء الدولية.

يأتي ذلك بعد مرور 55 عاماً على قيام المغفور له بإذن الله الشيخ راشد بن سعيد آل مكتوم، طيب الله ثراه، بإصدار طابع تذكاري لرحلة رواد الفضاء الأمريكية الأولى إلى الفضاء الخارجي، تحت شعار "تكريم رواد الفضاء".

وتأتي مجموعة الطوابع التذكارية المكونة من ستة تصاميم تضم صوراً لرائد الفضاء للمهمة هزاع المنصوري، ورائد الفضاء البديل سلطان النيادي، بالإضافة إلى مركبة الفضاء سويوز إم إس ومحطة الفضاء الدولية وشعار مهمّة 25 سبتمبر (طموح زايد)، الذي يظهر رسماً للمغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان طيب الله ثراه، معنوناً بـ "طموح زايد".

وبهذه المناسبة، قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: "أصدر المغفور له بإذن الله الشيخ راشد بن سعيد آل مكتوم في عام 1964، طابعاً يحتفي برواد الفضاء، في دلالة على الرؤية الاستشرافية للدولة، وفي خلال 55 عاماً، تحول هذا الطموح إلى واقع واقتربت الإمارات من تحقيق هدفها المتمثل في تأكيد ريادتها في صناعة الفضاء".

وأضاف الأشرم: "تشكل مهمة الفضاء الإماراتية لحظة بارزة في مسيرة صناعة الفضاء في الدولة، وستصبح حافزاً للجيل المقبل لمواصلة مسيرة الدولة الريادية والتأكيد على أنه لا وجود لكلمة مستحيل في القاموس الإماراتي. نحن فخورون جداً بهزاع المنصوري وسلطان النيادي، اللذان يمثلان قمة طموحات الدولة، كما نتشرف أيضاً بشراكتنا مع مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء في إصدار مجموعة الطوابع التذكارية للاحتفال بهذه المناسبة الهامة في تاريخنا وتسليط الضوء على دور دولة الإمارات في استكشاف الفضاء، وبالنيابة عن بريد الإمارات، نتمنى النجاح والتوفيق لهذه الرحلة التاريخية".

يشار إلى أن مهمة ذهاب أول رائد فضاء إماراتي إلى محطة الفضاء الدولية تندرج تحت برنامج "الإمارات لرواد الفضاء" الذي يشرف عليه مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، ويعد أول برنامج متكامل في المنطقة العربية يعمل على إعداد كوادر وطنية تُشارك في رحلات الفضاء المأهولة للقيام بمهام علمية مختلفة، تصبح جزءاً من الأبحاث التي يقوم بها المجتمع العلمي الدولي من أجل ابتكار حلول للعديد من التحديات التي بدورها تساعد في تحسين حياة البشر على سطح الأرض.

يذكر أن برنامج الامارات لرواد الفضاء يحظى بدعم مباشر من صندوق تطوير قطاع الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات الذراع التمويلي للهيئة العامة لتنظيم قطاع الاتصالات، ويُعتبر هذا الصندوق، الذي أطلق في عام 2007، الأول من نوعه في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، ويهدف إلى دعم جهود البحث والتطوير في قطاع الاتصالات في الدولة، وإثراء ودعم وتطوير الخدمات التقنية وتعزيز اندماج الدولة في الاقتصاد العالمي.

وأصدر بريد الإمارات 150،000 طابعاً تذكارياً بهذه المناسبة، وستتوفر الطوابع ابتداءً من يوم 25 سبتمبر الجاري في مراكز سعادة المتعاملين المركزية، كما يصدر بريد الإمارات 1000 مغلف لليوم الأول للإصدار.

Emirates Post in cooperation with [Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre](https://mbrsc.ae/en) (MBRSC), issues a series of commemorative stamps on 25 September 2019 to celebrate the UAE Astronaut Programme, which will take the first Emirati astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori to the International Space Station (ISS).

The series of stamps are launched 55 years after HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, father of Dubai, may he rest in peace, issued a stamp to commemorate the American astronauts' first trip to outer space, under the theme 'Honouring Astronauts'.

Comprising six designs, the special-edition stamps feature images of prime astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori and backup astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi as well as the soyuz MS spacecraft, the International Space Station and the logo for September 25 mission (Zayed's Ambition), which features an outline of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's image, may he rest in peace, titled "Zayed's ambition".

Commenting on the special issuance, **His Excellency Abdulla M. Alashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group** said, "In 1964, HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, God rest his soul, issued a stamp celebrating astronauts and space sciences, which demonstrates the nation's foresight and vision. It is incredible that, in 55 years, this ambition has now been turned into a reality and the UAE is getting closer to achieving its goal of becoming a leader in the space industry.

**He continued**, "The UAE space mission will mark an important milestone in the UAE's expanding space industry and inspire a new generation by showing them that anything is possible. We are extremely proud of Hazza AlMansouri and Sultan AlNeyadi, who represent the pinnacle of UAE's ambitions. We are also honored to partner with MBRSC and issue a series of commemorative stamps to celebrate this momentous occasion and highlight the UAE's role in space exploration. On behalf of Emirates Post, I would like to wish both astronauts every success on this historic journey."

The mission is part of the UAE Astronaut Programme, which is overseen by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC). The UAE Astronaut Programme is the first integrated programme in the Arab region to prepare national cadres to participate in human space flights and carry out various scientific missions, in addition to becoming a part of the research carried out by the global scientific community to devise solutions to many challenges facing humanity.

The UAE Astronaut Programme is funded by the ICT fund of the TRA. Launched in 2007, this fund, which is the first of its kind in the Arab world, aims towards supporting research and development within the ICT sector in the UAE, helping it to grow into a nationally significant industry with a leading place in the world.

Emirates Post is issuing 150,000 commemorative stamps, which are available at Emirates Post Central Happiness Centers from 25 September 2019. The local postal services provider is also issuing 1,000 First Day Cover Sheets.

أعلن بريد الإمارات عن إصدار طابع تذكاري للاحتفال بمرور 20 عاماً على تأسيس تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي التابعة للاتحاد العالمي للبريد، وسيتم إطلاق الطابع الذي أعده المكتب الدولي في الاتحاد العالمي للبريد يوم 10 سبتمبر، تزامناً مع تاريخ تأسيس التعاونية، وسيصدر في العديد من المؤسسات البريدية في جميع أنحاء العالم.

جاء الإعلان عن تأسيس تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي يوم 10 سبتمبر 1999 خلال مؤتمر بكين، من قبل مجلس الاستثمار في الاتحاد البريد العالمي ، بهدف تطوير خدمات البريد السريع، وتحفيز المؤسسات البريدية على التعاون لتقديم خدمة البريد السريع بجودة عالية لمتعامليهم، وتعزيز التنافسية العالمية. ويعتبر البريد العاجل هو أسرع الخدمات البريدية، حيث يجمع بين السرعة والموثوقية وبأسعار معقولة وخدمة المتعاملين، وفي العام 2004، انضم بريد الإمارات إلى تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي، التي تضم الآن أكثر من 180 عضواً.

وبدوره قال سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: " نفخر بعضويتنا في تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي والاحتفاء بذكري تأسيسه بهذا الطابع التذكاري فقد أسهم تأسيس تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي في تعزيز قوة الخدمة، وتحفيز الأعضاء على تحسين خدمات البريد العاجل التي يقدموها لمتعامليهم".

وأضاف: "تتماشى أهداف تعاونية البريد العاجل الدولي مع التزامنا بالتميز في خدمة متعاملينا، الأمر الذي أكدته الجوائز المتعددة التي حصدها بريد الإمارات تتويجاً لجهوده المتواصلة في تعزيز خدماته وفق أرقى المعايير العالمية، ونتطلع على مواصلة العمل معهم في المستقبل للحفاظ على المكتسبات والبناء عليها لتحقيق مزيد من التطور والتميز في تقديم الخدمات".

ويصدر بريد الإمارات 30 الف طابع تذكاري بسعر 3 دراهم، لتتوفر في جميع المراكز الرئيسية لسعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات، كما سيصدر أيضاً 1000 مغلف لليوم الأول للإصدار بسعر 4 دراهم.

Emirates Post issues a commemorative stamp to mark the milestone 20th anniversary of the UPU's EMS Cooperative. Created by the UPU's International Bureau, the stamp is being launched on 10 September, to coincide with the date the organization was founded, and will be issued by several postal organizations worldwide.

Founded at the Beijing Congress on 10 September 1999, the EMS Cooperative was created by the Postal Operations Council (POC) to develop Express Mail Service (EMS) and promote cooperation between postal organizations to provide customers with a high-quality, competitive EMS service on a global basis. EMS is the fastest postal product, combining speed with reliability, affordability and customer service. Emirates Post joined the EMS Cooperative in 2004 and more than 180 designated operators are now members.

Commenting on the special issuance, **HE Abdulla M. Alashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group**, said: "Since the EMS Cooperative was founded, the EMS product has gone from strength to strength. They have developed a number of initiatives to assist members to improve their EMS service. Given its clear commitment to speed and an enduring dedication to the quality of service, we are proud to be a member and to mark this occasion with a commemorative stamp."
