أعلنت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" إصدار طابعين بريديين تذكاريين بمناسبة انعقاد "بطولة الإمارات التأهيلية للجولة العالمية لأساتذة البادل" وبطولة "مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل - أبوظبي 2023". ويستوحي التصميم المعاصر للطابعين من رياضة البادل، بحيث يعرض تصميم الطابعين وطباعتهما على شكل مضربين للبادل (واحد لكل بطولة)، تخليداً للمناسبات الرياضية المحلية والدولية التي تحتضنها الدولة.

حيث تعد البطولات العالمية لأساتذة البادل المُقامة ضمن جولة "ورلد بادل تور" العالمية أبرز حدث رياضي للمحترفين في هذه الرياضة على مستوى العالم، وتمَّ تنظيم بطولة الإمارات التأهيلية للجولة العالمية برعاية "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بالشراكة مع "اتحاد الإمارات للبادل تنس" و"مجلس أبوظبي الرياضي"، حيث أُقيمت فعالياتها على مدى ثلاث عطل نهاية أسبوع في كلٍّ من أبوظبي ودبي والشارقة في الفترة ما بين 27 يناير و12 فبراير 2023. وشهدت البطولة التأهيلية مشاركة أكثر من 190 لاعباً ولاعبة بادل محترف من المواطنين والمقيمين في دولة الإمارات ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وحصلت الفرق الفائزة على بطاقات للمشاركة في جولة التصفيات التأهيلية لبطولة "مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل - أبوظبي 2023".

وانطلقت فعاليات بطولة "مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل - أبوظبي 2023"، أولى البطولات الاحترافية في موسم عام 2023 من جولة "ورلد بادل تور" العالمية، يوم 21 فبراير 2023 واستمرَّت حتى 26 فبراير في باب النجوم في جزيرة الحديريات في أبوظبي. كما نظَّم هذه البطولة "مجلس أبوظبي الرياضي" بالشراكة مع "دائرة الثقافة والسياحة – أبوظبي"، وشارك فيها 128 من أبرز لاعبي ولاعبات البادل المحترفين من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

تعكس مشاركة "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بهذا الحدث الرياضي الهام التزامها بتعزيز الرياضات في دولة الإمارات والمنطقة وتحفيز أفراد المجتمع على تبني نمط حياة صحي ونشط.

وقال **عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات"**: "نفخر بمشاركتنا في "بطولة الإمارات التأهيلية للجولة العالمية لأساتذة البادل" بصفة راعي الرسمي، وفي بطولة "مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل 2023" كأحد الرعاة الذهبيين. نحن على ثقةٍ بأنَّ الطابعين الجديدين سينالان استحسان محبِّي الرياضة وجامعي الطوابع بفضل تصميمها المبتكر والمتميِّز. بالإضافة الى ذلك، نود تأكيد التزامنا بمواصلة العمل في إطار تعاوننا مع "اتحاد الإمارات للبادل تنس" والمجالس الرياضية في جميع إمارات الدولة لتعزيز تنمية الرياضة في المجتمع."

Emirates Post Group has released two distinctive stamps to commemorate the "UAE Wild Card Padel Championship" and the "World Padel Tour Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master 2023". These stamps are unique because of their die-cut design that represents two padel bats, one for each tournament, to commemorate the global and national sporting events that were hosted in the UAE.

World Padel Tour (WPT) is the world’s leading professional padel circuit. The "UAE Wild Card Padel Championship", sponsored by Emirates Post Group in partnership with UAE Padel Association and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, was organized across three weekends in three different emirates - Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, from 27 January to 12 February. Over 190 professional padel players from the UAE and GCC, nationals and residents, competed in the UAE Wild Card Padel Championship which awarded ‘wild card’ entries to the winning teams to compete in the Qualification round of the "World Padel Tour Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master 2023".  

Meanwhile, the first Master tournament in the 2023 WPT season, presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with Abu Dhabi Tourism, was held from 21 February to 26 February 2023 at Bab Al Nojoum on Hudayriat Island, Abu Dhabi. As many as 128 top-ranked men and women padel stars competed for the top spot during this event.

Emirates Post Group's participation and sponsorship demonstrates its commitment to promoting sports in the UAE and the region, further inspiring the community to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

أعلنت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" إصدار طابع بريدي تذكاري بمناسبة اليوم الوطني الثاني والستين لدولة الكويت، والذي يوافق 25 فبراير، وذلك تجسيداً لعمق العلاقات بين البلدين الشقيقين واحتفاءً بالروابط الراسخة التي تجمعهما. وتم إطلاق الطابع التذكاري ضمن احتفال سفارة دولة الكويت في أبوظبي، ويحمل الطابع شعار "الإمارات تحب الكويت"، وهو مزيَّنٌ بعلمي البلدين وأبرز معالمهما العمرانية.

Emirates Post Group (EPG) issued commemorative stamps celebrating the 62nd National Day of the State of Kuwait which falls on February 25, to highlight the robust bilateral relations as well as cooperation between the two nations. The stamp was launched at a special event held by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Abu Dhabi. The stamp is designed under the theme ‘UAE loves Kuwait’, featuring the emblems and flags of both the UAE and Kuwait against their prominent cityscapes.  

This issuance reflects the Group’s efforts in advancing the UAE’s objectives to enhance partnerships with Arab nations, particularly the State of Kuwait by joining the people and Kuwaiti leadership in their national day celebrations. The stamp echoes the countries’ long-standing historical brotherly relations, supported by the Arab and Gulf solidarity. It further constitutes a strong base for the strategic partnership between the two, further promoting their growth in various economic, cultural, and societal sectors.

دبي، 23 فبراير 2023 – أطلقت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" المسابقة الدولية الثانية والخمسين لكتابة الرسائل لفئة الشباب، والتي تنظمها بالتنسيق مع "الاتحاد البريدي العالمي"، لتشجيع الموهوبين من الأطفال وجيل الشباب على إظهار إبداعاتهم وصقل مهاراتهم في الكتابة. ودعت المجموعة الشباب الموهوبين الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين التاسعة والخامسة عشرة من جميع أنحاء دولة الإمارات للمشاركة في هذه المسابقة التي تتواصل من 23 فبراير إلى 21 أبريل 2023. 
ونظَّمت المجموعة فعاليةً لإطلاق المسابقة، شهدت تكريماً خاصاً لأعضاء "مؤسسة الإمارات للتعليم المدرسي". وأعرب عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات"، عن الشكر والتقدير للدعم الكبير الذي قدمته المؤسسة للمسابقة الدولية الحادية والخمسين لكتابة رسائل الشباب في 2022، وأشاد بمساهمتها بوصول المسابقة إلى شريحة أوسع من الطلاب في الدولة وبدور المؤسسة في التحكيم وتقييم الرسائل المقدمة. 
وتهدف المسابقة الدولية لكتابة الرسائل إلى تشجيع الشباب على توظيف فن كتابة الرسائل في التعبير عن آرائهم وطرح أفكارهم ومقترحاتهم حول مواضيع متنوعة. وتدعو المسابقة في نسختها لهذا العام الطلاب إلى تقديم مشاركاتهم وفقاً للطرح التالي: "تخيل أنك بطل خارق ومهمتك جعل جميع الطرق حول العالم أكثر أماناً للأطفال. أكتب رسالةً إلى شخصٍ ما تشرح فيها القوى الخارقة التي ستحتاجها لتحقيق هدفك". ويتوجب على الطلاب كتابة رسالةٍ بخط اليد باللغة العربية أو الإنجليزية، وإرسالها عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى: [epcompetition@epg.ae](epcompetition@epg.ae) 
وقال عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات": "يسعدنا التعاون مع "مؤسسة الإمارات للتعليم" وإطلاق نسخة العام الحالي من المسابقة الدولية لكتابة الرسائل لفئة الشباب. ونثني على إسهامات المؤسسة المشهودة في تحفيز الشباب من الطلاب والطالبات على المشاركة في المسابقة على نطاق واسع. كما وفَّرت المسابقة منذ تأسيسها مساحةً إبداعيةً تسمح للطلاب بالتعبير عن آرائهم وتطوير مهاراتهم الأدبية عبر فن الكتابة، إلى جانب كونها تمثِّل نموذجاً فريداً ومبتكراً يسلط الضوء على دور الخدمات البريدية في المجتمع. ونحثُّ الطلاب من جميع أنحاء دولة الإمارات على المشاركة في المسابقة، ونأمل من المدارس دعم هذه المبادرة التي تتمحور حول موضوع أمان الطرق."
سيتم اختيار الفائزين بالمسابقة وفقاً للقواعد والمعايير المحددة عبر الموقع الإلكتروني، وسيُمنح كلٌّ منهم جائزةً ماليةً وشهادة تقدير. وسيتلقى الفائز بالمرتبة الأولى 3,000 درهم، في حين سيحصل الفائز بالمرتبة الثانية على 2,000 درهم والفائز بالمرتبة الثالثة على 1,000 درهم. كما ستتاح لإحدى الرسائل الفرصة لتمثيل دولة الإمارات في الجولة الدولية لمسابقة كتابة الرسائل لدى الاتحاد البريدي العالمي.

Dubai, 23 February 2023 – Emirates Post Group (EPG) has launched the 52nd International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People organised in coordination with the Universal Postal Union (UPU), encouraging children and young talents to express creativity and refine their writing skills. EPG is inviting young writers aged between nine to fifteen years from across the UAE to participate in this competition, which will be held from February 23 until April 21, 2023.

The Group hosted an event to launch this year’s competition which also included a special honouring of members from the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE). Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, expressed his gratitude for the ESE’s immense support last year for the 51st International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People 2022. He also highlighted ESE’s contributions to widening the competition's reach to a broad category of students across the nation and its role in the arbitration of the competition’s letter submissions.

The competition aims to encourage youth to use the art of letter writing to express their ideas and opinions on a range of subjects. This year, the theme of the letter must be “Imagine you are a superhero, and your mission is to make all roads around the world safer for children. Write a letter to someone explaining which superpowers you would need to achieve your mission”. Students are required to compose a letter in either Arabic or English and submit it through the dedicated email address [epcompetition@epg.ae ](epcompetition@epg.ae )  




Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: "We are delighted to work with the Emirates Schools Establishment and launch this year’s International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People. We appreciate the ESE for its notable efforts in encouraging children to participate in the competition. Since its inception, the competition has given students a platform to express their ideas and strengthen their literary and writing abilities through the written word. Furthermore, it also contributes to highlighting the role of postal services in the community. We encourage students from across the UAE to participate in the competition and ask that all schools support this initiative which focuses on road safety.”

Winners of this competition will be chosen based on specific criterions listed on the website and will receive monetary rewards as well as a certificate of recognition. The first-place winner will receive AED 3,000, second-place AED 2,000, and third-place winner AED 1,000. One of the letters will also represent the UAE in the international round of the competition at the UPU.

أطلقت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بالتعاون مع متحف اللوفر أبوظبي طابعاً تذكارياً مميزاً يحتفي بالإرث الثقافي لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ويعكس مكانتها الراسخة كمجمعٍ للثقافات والحضارات الإنسانية وحاضنةٍ للفنون والمتاحف والمؤسسات الثقافية. وجاء الإصدار البريدي الجديد في إطار استراتيجية المجموعة بتوثيق الصروح الحضارية في الدولة وتسليط الضوء على أبرز معالمها.

ويمثِّل متحف اللوفر أبوظبي منبراً ثقافياً رائداً تزيِّن أروقته أجمل صور الإبداع الإنساني عبر العصور وتروي القطع الفنية التراثية والمعاصرة التي يحتضنها قصص الحضارات والقيم الإنسانية الخالدة. تم افتتاح المتحف في جزيرة السعديات في إمارة أبوظبي في نوفمبر 2017، وذلك بموجب الاتفاق الثقافي بين حكومتي أبوظبي وفرنسا، وعمل على تصميمه المهندس المعماري جان نوفيل، مستوحياً تصاميمه من التراث العربي وجامعاً ما بين العناصر العمرانية التي يتميز بها البناء الإسلامي التقليدي والخبرات واللمسات التصميمية الفرنسية. وقد تحوّل المتحف، منذ افتتاحه، إلى مساحة اجتماعية فريدة تجمع الزوار في جوّ فني وثقافي.

Emirates Post Group, in collaboration with Louvre Abu Dhabi, launched a special commemorative stamp that highlights the significance of the museum in celebrating the long-standing cultural heritage of the UAE. The stamp further emphasises the pioneering position of Louvre Abu Dhabi as a hub for cultures and human civilisation, along with being a sanctuary for arts, museums and cultural institutions. The new postal stamp is in line with the Group's objective of documenting and highlighting key features of the country's civilisational monuments.

Louvre Abu Dhabi is a cultural landmark, with galleries that displays artworks shedding light on the human creativity throughout history. The museum’s ancient and modern art pieces tell the stories of civilisations and eternal human values. The museum opened in Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi in 2017, as part of a cultural agreement between the governments of Abu Dhabi and France. It was designed by architect Jean Nouvel, who was inspired by Arabic heritage and combined traditional Islamic architecture with French concepts and expertise. Since its opening, Louvre Abu Dhabi has become a unique social space that brings people together in an artistic and cultural environment.

تنطلق اليوم برعاية مجموعة بريد الإمارات الموافق 27 يناير البطولة التأهيلية للجولة العالمية لأساتذة البادل‎ بمشاركة 190 لاعباً من المستوى المتقدم، للمنافسة على 6 بطاقات للمشاركة في الجولة التأهيلية لـ بطولة مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل تنس 2023 المقرر إقامتها خلال الفترة من 21 – 26 فبراير القادم في جزيرة الحديريات في أبوظبي.

وتتألف هذه البطولة التي تقام برعاية مجموعة بريد الإمارات، بالشراكة مع اتحاد الإمارات للبادل تنس ومجلس أبوظبي الرياضي، من 6 جولات ستقام في الشارقة ودبي وأبوظبي (على التوالي) على مدار 3 عطلات نهاية أسبوع ابتداءً من 27 من يناير وحتى 12 فبراير 2023.

وتشمل البطولة 3 فئات هي: البطولة المفتوحة للمقيمين في الإمارات، والبطولة المفتوحة لمواطني الإمارات، والبطولة المفتوحة للمواطنين والمقيمين من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، على أن تستضيف كل جولة بطولة للرجال وأخرى للسيدات.

وستنطلق البطولة التأهيلية برعاية مجموعة بريد الإمارات في مرحلتها الأولى مع البطولة المفتوحة للمقيمين في الإمارات التي ستقام في "بادل أرينا" في الشارقة خلال الأيام الثلاثة المقبلة. وسيشارك في التصفيات المخصصة للمقيمين في الإمارات 32 لاعباً في عطلة نهاية هذا الأسبوع يوم الجمعة 27 يناير، بينما يقام دور الـ 16 ودور ربع النهائي يوم السبت 28 يناير، وسيكون موعد دور نصف النهائي يوم الأحد 29 يناير.

وستنطلق بعد ذلك المرحلة الثانية من البطولة التأهيلية برعاية مجموعة بريد الإمارات والتي ستخصص لمواطني دولة الإمارات، وسيتم تنظيمها بخروج المغلوب، وذلك في الفترة من 3 إلى 5 فبراير في "أكاديمية البادل العالمية" في القوز بدبي. وسيتنافس لاعبو البادل من المستوى المتقدم من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي الأخرى في المرحلة الثالثة يومي 10 و11 فبراير في "أبوظبي كريكت سبورتس هب" في ستاد زايد للكريكيت في أبوظبي.

وستقام النهائيات في 12 فبراير في مركز أبوظبي للبادل، حيث يحصل كل فريق فائز على البطاقة المؤهلة للعب أمام أفضل لاعبي البادل في العالم في بطولة مدن العالمية لأساتذة البادل، والتي ستقام في الفترة من 18 إلى 20 فبراير في "321 سبورتس" بجزيرة الحديريات. ويلي ذلك إجراء القرعة الرئيسية للبطولة الكبرى التي تقام خلال الفترة من 21 إلى 26 فبراير 2023 في باب النجوم بجزيرة الحديريات بأبوظبي، كما سيحصل كل فريق من المتأهلين الستة على جائزة مالية قدرها 10 آلاف درهم.

وستتولى شركة "غلوبال مايس المحدودة" (GMOL Events) تنظيم هذا الحدث بالشراكة مع "ماتش سبوت".

The UAE Wild Card Championship kicks off tonight with over 190 advanced padel players from the UAE and GCC expected to compete for one of six Wild Card entries to the World Padel Tour. Sponsored by Emirates Post Group in partnership with UAE Padel Association and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the UAE Wild Card Championship will consist of six tournaments that will take place across the UAE over three weekends in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah from January 27 to February 12.

Organised by Global MICE Organisation Limited (GMOL Events) in collaboration with Match Spot, the championship will have three category tournaments: UAE Residents Open, UAE Nationals, and GCC Nationals, with each category hosting a male and female tournament. More than 90 teams have registered to date for the six playoff matches, including over 50 men's teams and 35 women’s teams.

The Emirates Post Group UAE Wild Card Championship will commence with the UAE Residents Open tournament at "Padel Arena" in Sharjah over the next three days. This weekend's playoff is for UAE residents and will include a round of 32 on Friday, January 27, a round of 16 and the quarterfinals on Saturday, January 28, and the semi-finals on Sunday, January 29.

The second tournament of the championship, which is organised for UAE nationals, will follow the same knockout format from February 3 - 5 at the "World Padel Academy" in Dubai. Advanced padel players from other GCC nations will compete in the championship's third tournament, from  February 10 - 11, at the “Abu Dhabi Padel Hub” at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.

The finals for each of the six tournaments will be held on February 12 at the Abu Dhabi Padel Hub, with each winning team receiving a Wild Card, qualifying them to play against the world’s top-seeded padel players in the Qualification round of the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master, taking place from February 18 – 20 at "321 Sports" on Hudayriyat Island. This will be followed by the Main Draw of the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master from February 21 – 26 at Bab Al Nojoum on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi. Each of the six finalists will also be awarded AED 10,000 in prize money.

على هامش الاجتماع ال 42 للجنة العربية الدائمة للبريد، أعلنت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" إطلاق طابعٍ بريدي تذكاري مشترك، بالتعاون مع "البريد المصري"، للاحتفاء بمرور خمسين عاماً على تأسيس العلاقات الإماراتية المصرية، حيث يجسد الطابع التذكاري روابط الأخوة والصداقة التي تجمع البلدين، والآفاق الواعدة للعلاقات الإماراتية المصرية في مختلف القطاعات، وبما يعود بالمنفعة عليهما ويحقق مصالح الشعبين.

ويعكس الطابع التذكاري حرص "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" على الاحتفاء بالإنجازات والمناسبات البارزة، والتزامها بدعم مساعي دولة الإمارات لتعزيز التعاون الوثيق والعلاقات الاستراتيجية مع الدول العربية والعالمية، وعلى رأسها مصر، وتوسيع آفاقها لتشمل جميع المجالات بما يدعم تنمية وازدهار البلدين.

ومن جانبه قال الدكتور شريف فاروق، رئيس مجلس إدارة البريد المصري: "ان العلاقات المصرية الإماراتية تمثل نموذجًا مثاليًا، للعَلاقات القوية والثقة المتبادلة بين الشعبين، وعلاقات تعاون وثيقة وبنَّاءة في جميع المجالات، مشيرًا إلى أن العَلاقات المصرية الإماراتية تسودها الأخوة والمودة والتوافق بين الشعبين، لذا بادر "البريد المصري" بالتعاون مع "بريد الامارات" بإصدار طابعٍ بريد تذكاري بمناسبة مرور 50 عامًا على العَلاقات المصرية الإماراتية؛ وذلك بهدف توثيق العَلاقات القوية التي تجمع بين البلدين".

ويُذكر أن دولة الإمارات وجمهورية مصر العربية قد احتفلتا بمناسبة اليوبيل الذهبي للعلاقات الأخوية والتاريخية الراسخة بين الإمارات ومصر، تحت شعار "مصر والإمارات قلب واحد" مؤخراً، والتي شهدت حضور ممثلين عن الحكومتين وشخصيات بارزة في مختلف القطاعات، وتضمنت منتديات اقتصادية وثقافية، وغيرها من الفعاليات المتنوعة.

On the sidelines of the 42nd meeting of Arab Permanent Postal Commission, Emirates Post Group, in collaboration with Egypt Post, announced the issuance of a joint commemorative stamp in celebration of 50 years of bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt. The stamp echoes five decades of respect and cooperation between both countries, as well as the depth of relations demonstrating the bonds of brotherhood and comprehensive partnership between the nations.  

The stamp launch is consistent with Emirates Post Group’s commitment to advancing the UAE's objectives of enhancing partnerships and strategic alliances with Arab and foreign nations, particularly Egypt. The UAE aims to explore more potential prospects to encompass all fields, in order to promote the development and prosperity of both nations. The stamp further demonstrates Group's commitment to marking several significant accomplishments and occasions of the UAE.

Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: “We are extremely delighted to launch the new stamp that marks the 50-year long robust ties and friendly relations between the UAE and Egypt. The solid relations between the countries serve as the perfect model for bilateral relations between the Arab countries based on several historical, cultural, economic, and commercial factors. The depth of these relations stems from the robust foundation of cooperation, as well as combined efforts to accomplish the goals and missions of both countries and propel the growth and development of the two nations. Dr Sherif Farouk, Chairperson of Egypt Post said: “The robust bilateral relationship between Egypt and the UAE serves as a paradigm for close ties and mutual trust between the two countries, exhibiting solid and beneficial collaborations in all areas within a cordial and peaceful environment. In order to further solidify the close ties between the two nations, Egypt Post is honoured to work with Emirates Post Group to issue a commemorative stamp in recognition of 50 years of strong bilateral relations between the two nations.”

Under the theme ‘Egypt and UAE...One Heart’ the stamp issuance alludes to the recent celebrations that took place between the two countries commemorating the 50th anniversary of the UAE-Egyptian relations. The event was attended by several government officials from both sides, as well as notable figures from various sectors, and featured a variety of events and activities, including several economic and cultural forums.
