Transit Times & Delivery Times

To cancel an individual or corporate P.O. Box service, you need to settle all outstanding amounts and submit a cancellation form at any post office or follow the below steps to cancel the PO Box online:

- Click on the ellipsis (Three dots on the right-hand side)
- Click on cancel Note: Cancellation of the PO Box may take up to 48 hours.
Yes, depending on your PO Box bundle, you can downgrade your P.O. Box service within the rental period. Please visit the account login page, log in to your account and follow the below steps to complete the process online.

- Click on ellipsis (Three dots on the right hand side)
- Click on downgrade, choose the bundle and confirm.
Yes, you can upgrade your current PO Box bundle to any of the available options. Please visit the account login page, log in to your account and follow the below steps to complete the process online.

If a customer loses a key, the owner should apply for a new lock at the post office where the P.O. Box is located, pay a fee of AED 100 + 5% VAT, and submit the following:
- Fill up the miscellaneous service form
- A letter from the P.O. Box owner stating that the PO Box keys were lost
Regretfully, P.O. Box numbers are allocated for each branch, and we are unable to transfer your P.O. Box from one post office to the other.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check his PO Box regularly and ensure renewal within 30 days from contract expiry date, (here-forth to be known as the “grace period”) to avoid service contract cancellation.
In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Postal regulations, any mail items that have not been collected after the expiry of the defined grace period, will be returned to sender or disposed as per regulations.
Delivery of any items received for a PO Box after the expiry of the service contract (either withdrawn or cancelled) will be subject to renewal of PO Box (subject to PO Box availability).
Customer will be liable to pay storage (mailbag) charges of AED 1000 at the time of collecting any mail against cancelled or expired PO Box.
To cancel the service, customer should settle all outstanding amounts and submit a cancellation form in the specified time at any post office; otherwise, full charges will be applied.
Subscription fees are not refundable.
Yes. To change the status of a Corporate P.O. Box with a cancelled trade license to a Personal P.O. Box with the same ownership, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form along with proof of cancellation of the trade license and the Emirates ID of the company owner to the nearest Emirates Post branch.
Yes. To change the status to a Personal P.O. Box from a company with a Corporate P.O. Box sold to a new ownership, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form along with the NOC letter, proof of transferring the trade license and the Emirates ID of the company owner to the nearest Emirates Post branch.
To transfer a Corporate P.O. Box to another trade license, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form with the trade license of the first and second companies along with the Emirates ID of the company owner to the nearest Emirates Post branch.
To change the status of a Corporate P.O. Box to a Personal P.O. Box, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form with the company’s trade license of the company's owner along with the Emirates ID to the nearest Emirates Post branch, provided the individual ownership name remains the same.
To change the status of a Personal P.O. Box to a Corporate P.O. Box, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form along with a copy of the Emirates ID of the account owner and the company's trade license to the nearest Emirates Post branch. A change fee applies.
To change the assigned subscriber a Personal P.O. Box to another individual, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form along with the NOC letter stating the reason for the transfer, along with a copy of the Emirates ID to the nearest Emirates Post branch.
To change the status of a Personal P.O. Box of a deceased member to a family member, submit the completed P.O. Box registration form along with an attested letter mentioning the relationship with the deceased family member and a copy of the Emirates ID of the new tenant to the nearest Emirates Post branch.
Auto-Renewal & Payment Methods
Auto-Renewal means your subscription will automatically renew using your saved card. If you have opted for the auto-renewal feature during renting or renewing the subscription, then the default saved card in your user profile will be used. This ensures your service continues without disruption and saves you time and effort.
No action is needed unless you wish to update or change your default payment method.
You can update or add a new card at any time through your user profile. To manage your payment preferences and card details, please use the Emirates Post Mobile App and navigate to Account Preferences > Payment Preferences or visit https://box.emiratespost.ae/ul/preferences. Make sure there is always at least one valid default card saved to prevent service disruption if Auto-Renewal is active. The saved default card in your profile will always be used for Auto-Renewal.
If you have other saved cards: you can delete your default card, but please assign another card as default first. If it’s the only card on file: you can still delete it, but you must add another valid card as default to avoid service disruption.
You can always check your renewal date when you log in to your account through the app or website under your P.O. Box details. You will also receive notifications from us before the expiry of your P.O. Box subscription.

Rate Inquiries & Process
Actual weight is simply the weight of the package, whereas volumetric weight takes into account the dimensions of the package. For example, if you order a tall vase, its volumetric weight will be its Length x Width x Height divided by 5000.
The weight limit of the package depends on the service chosen and the destination.
For the size limitations:
- None of the dimensions must exceed 1.04 meters
The following materials are prohibited and unacceptable for transport:
Currency, Works of art, Drugs, Cashier Cheques, Antiques, Alcohol, Traveler Cheques, Pharmaceuticals, Tobacco, Money orders, Firearms, Passports, Negotiable instruments, Animals, Identity documents (bearer form), Plants, Pornographic material, Precious metals, Perishables, Precious stones, Explosives
Note: Sealed and closed consignment items will not be accepted at our Happiness Centers. These items must be opened, checked, and inspected by our Customer Happiness officers to ensure compliance with our conditions for acceptance.

You can apply for an international driving license through our International Driving License page or any Emirates Post office by submitting the following documents:
- Original and valid driving license issued by the respective UAE authority
- Original and valid passport
- Original and valid Emirates ID card
- One (1) clear and high resolution passport size photograph
Important:
- The applicant must be present to personally apply and sign for the license service.
- The owner of the valid driving license must have used the license for at least one (1) year.
- The application fee is AED 170 + 5% VAT for all new and renewal applications.

Courier License
To obtain/renew your courier license, kindly submit the following documents:
- Application form
- Declaration and pledge forms
- Copy of the owner’s and partners' passport and Emirates ID card
- Copy of the local family book
- Copy of initial approval issued by the Economic Department
- Copy of trade name reservation
- Copy of memorandum of association
- Copy of lease contract
- Copy of commercial registration + trade license
New applications will be charged the following fee: AED 100,000 + 5% VAT

To register as a supplier, kindly visit the Supplier Registration page or Download the supplier registration form and submit all completed requirements. After submission, we will evaluate and review your documents, and classify suppliers according to the type of activity.
Emirates Post Account
Emirates Post Account is through which you can manage your physical P.O. Box digitally through Emirates Post website or mobile application
You can pay as you go or rent a PO Box to access the services free.
Conventional electronic communications are easy to manipulate. Being relatively simple for unregistered electronic communication to be challenged in court. Certification minimizes the risk to its lowest terms, thanks to a third-party proving content and timing of the communication. To prove content, a document including a set of technical measures is provided, preventing any possible debate on such data. We issue a certificate, including our digital signature with the message hash and a time stamp from a Certification Authority.
Medical Goods
The service is optional according to the customer’s request if it is for personal use. However, it is mandatory to obtain permission for commercial quantities, and that can be done by obtaining an import/export permit through medical warehouses or medical factories licensed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention. In the event that the final destination mentioned in the import declaration is not the United Arab Emirates and the invoices are not changed, they are not subject to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, except in the event that the drugs are narcotics or psychotropic substances, then the Ministry of Health and Prevention must be notified of the same.

Yes, medical warehouses licensed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention are the only facilities that are qualified to import or export medical products according to Federal Law No. (8) of 2019 on Medical Products, Pharmacy Profession, and Pharmaceutical Establishments.
