In cooperation with the Automobile and Touring Club (ATCUAE) , all Emirates Post offices in the UAE issue International Driving Permits for people who would like to drive abroad.

The International Driving Permit is recognized in 170 countries. It is printed in 10 languages, including Arabic. It can help overcome language barriers between drivers and police, and is a useful form of identification if the passport goes missing. Fee per permit: Dh140.

To apply, just fill up the application form and submit along with the following documents:  

1.Valid UAE Driving License

2. A copy of your passport and residence visa

3. Two passport size photographs
